Isbat & Alexander

As you bring the blade closer, he jumps back.

"Look, I know ya want me to prove its me, but ya know that I'M allergic to silver as well! I'm trying to catch my breath, and you're going to end up causing more harm then good with that damn thing."

As a reaction to this, you slash at him! (13+10) Your blade strikes as his skin burns! He turns back as you dealt (2+5) damage! The shape shifter reverts, revealing his true form again, but he's littered with slashes from claws and several bites. Thoradin gave him a good thrashing. He's obviously bloodied, but sadly, you didn't deal it to him. He stabs you (?) (?) (?) three times, dealing (29) damage total and causing you (5) bleeding! He tries to run and you spot Thoradin coming around the corner. He swings his axe, (?) striking the shapeshifter and knocking him prone, dealing (21) damage! He's bleeding all over and Thoradin is foaming from his mouth in rage as he screams at the shifter. Thoradin is bleeding profusely, but he's still up on his feet. Thoradin drops an action point and does life ending strike! (?) His attack lands, dealing (25) damage, cleaving the head of the shifter! Thoradins eyes turn black now as you see anger and hate filled in his eyes!

Thoradin roars at you as he rages! He's bloodied, bleeding and attacking you!

(19+12) (17+12) (14+12) (13+12) The axe is a dwarven artifact called the Elve's End that seems to favor in killing Fey folk and trees. It seems to burn Cromwell's hand as he touches it

Once per day, you may do a close burst 1 attack that destroys any trees nearby and damages all enemies. +1 to damage and attack rolls to everything except anything with the fey keyword, which it acts as a +3 weapon

The helmet is a helm of seven deaths

As an at will, tageting a bloodied enemy, you learn their current HP. When you kill an enemy, you capture thier soul in one of the seven gems. Expending two souls gives you 5+half your level in HP (must have three gems filled). Expend all seven and maximize up to four dice on your next damage roll

The hammer is another dwarven artifact simply named Molly. Karl has briefly heard of this tale growing up, as it was involved a demigod human paladin who was given a great and powerful hammer and used it to kill MANY giants before dying defeating a serpent. Its no doubt that the dwarves would get it back.

The effects are similar to Elves' End in the extra plus part, but replace fey with creature larger then, you, as well as giving the ability to return to you, as it is a throwing hammer. The hammer also has a daily power that deals 2d8 lightning damage to you to deal 2d10+str mod damage to one enemy, but can only be done outside and causes a storm to appear after its use.

Upon picking up the hammer, Molly glows blue as you hear a voice come from her:
Roth? Is that you? I've been waiting for you for so long!

...Uh oh...

Cromwell's head laughs a bit.

"Oh boy mon. Which one of ya sorry bloodclots is gonna' tell her? Ain' gon' be me mon."

The cloak is a basic +2 cloak of resistance.

You say it in common, and then as he roars, you say it again in abyssal! He drops his axe and roars as you see him charge you, but his eyes change back as you see his eyes return and he ends up just running into you. He's unconcious now. The enemy's head lays next to Isbat's feet, the enemy is slain...

You feel the earth move about your feet as the entire dungeon seems to quake. Dust covers the maze again, but this time, the place doesn't look like a maze, but a regular hallway. You see a room off to the side, and upon looking inside, is the stairs down. Thoradin said this would lead downstairs... Now what to do with the unconcious, bleeding dwarf? He has positive hitpoints, but is out cold. Isbat gets a turn before Thoradin takes (10) damage

"I have a fair few ways to heal myself, and you're more likely to benefit from the effects of draining all the souls at once, so feel free to take the helmet." Karl says, fastening the cloak to his armor.

When the hammer starts speaking, Karl just stares at it, then at the voodoo head and Cromwell as they both back away. "Oh, very well. It gives me a ranged attack option, and some of those shadow monsters have been giant sized." More softly, he mutters. "What's one more talking weapon?"

Karl picks up Molly and addresses it.

"Hello, Molly. My name is Karl. Roth has passed on, many many years ago. Together, you and he forged legends that persist to this day. Now I ask you to fight once more."
