Karl summons Siga once everyone is awake and on their feet again, and has the dog sniff at the entrances to the tunnels and the unexplored cave nearby.
The hound sniffs the tunnels, but doesn't do much on the end of looking for things. However, when you return to the cave, Siga whimpers a bit (?) and then barks at the cave. You all hear a deep growl inside the cave, distant and echoed, but louder then you've heard before. Since you're alone, perhaps its not the best idea to be here without the others. You smell something foul as you start to step away

Karl draws his sword and shield as he backs away from the cave entrance warily, whistling Siga back to his side.

Try to determine the direction and distance of the smell, but don't go looking for it. Instead report back to the others what Siga found.

Its deeper into the cave, but you know its a fair distance in. You return to the rest of theparty and tell everyone about the smell and the rumbling

Nadarr's eyes gleam.

Perhaps this is the Dragon, of which the ghost spoke? I would like to meet one, even twisted as this one is sure to be.

"Normally it's better to bargain with than fight a dragon but this is probably another shadow-infused creature, meaning that it also is probably stronger. Are you sure you're not just after whatever it is dragons hide, dragonborn? Your vampire friend was pretty thorough that the beast we just fought was the weakest of them."

There are some clans that are sworn to serve a Dragon, to do its bidding. Such people hide in the wilderness with their patron. My clan was not one of these, but nonetheless I want to see what all the fuss is about, and if it hides anything

Nadarr shrugs

That would be an added benefit.

Thoradin mumbles something about never remembering a dragon in his home.

Karl frowns as he looks around at the others. "Normally I would say that we could better leave this dragon alone, but when Siga barked, I could hear the dragon growling. Alive or undead, if it hungers and follows our scent, we could be caught unaware or between two enemies. Let's go face this beast and be done with it."

Nadarr grins, but lets Karl go back down the hallway first.

"Right then. We're off to slay the shadow dragon.
I see no way this could go wrong."

Karl shrugs as he leads the group back towards the cavern.

"Well, if it's undead like the burrower, I could always arrange to be swallowed again and Turn it from the inside. Flying chunks smashing our new ally and pets aside, that worked fairly well. Speak of that, I apologize for killing your crocodile, Alexander."

Cromwell thinks for a second.
"There's no way you could fit inside Aurel, is there?"

Perhaps you wish to teleport to his face and stuff an amulet down his throat?

Nadarr laughs.

"Well, if it's undead like the burrower, I could always arrange to be swallowed again and Turn it from the inside. Flying chunks smashing our new ally and pets aside, that worked fairly well. Speak of that, I apologize for killing your crocodile, Alexander."
((I seriously would appreciate that everyone tries to say something, because of how the party can't really navigate well inside the caverns, if the party splits up, there's a good chance the party won't meet back up so quickly and without problems. Since Karl has Siga, its easier to track the party (since they all smell unique (the party was cleaned off, but dragonborn, shadow-touched human, and Samurai all probably smell funny and almost exotic in a dog's view)) he can get back to them better then the others. Thoradin and slightly Nadarr can track through scent as well, but not as strong.

Perhaps you wish to teleport to his face and stuff an amulet down his throat?

Nadarr laughs.
Now how, pray tell, will you get it in his mouth? A mouth of a vampire at that))

The party takes off towards the foul smelling cave. It takes awhile, but before anyone can notice, Thoradin smells it and plug his nose.

"Careful lads, it reeks of poison." He says.

Nadarr begins to smell it within seconds of Thoradin pointing it out and begins to scratch at his nose in irritation. Thoradin hands you a cloth to cover your sensitive nose.

"I forgot ya dragonborn lads had sensitive noses, especially to the smell of their kin."

He gives a quick nudge, trying to hold your secret from others who do not know (Isbat, and other party members who forgot).

You then make it to the cave and Siga whimpers again before barking. This time you hear something spoken in draconic with a very deep but rhaspy voice.

Only Nadarr can understand what is said:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

With every syllable, the smell gets worse. Without warning, you hear stomping in the cave and the sound of coins being moved. Alexander and Thoradin, with their dakrvision, can barely make out the enlarged eyes of a dragonic figure. With how much its eye is moving, you can't tell if its blind or good at acting like it is. You do not see the rest of its body. It is too far into the cave for you to charge and you cannot see past it, for it is at the end of the 100ft that your darkvision goes. No one else can see anything. Siga whimpers and back behind Karl, tail between its legs and scratching its nose. You feel bad for it since its nose is more sensitive then yours.
