Waves hand around carelessly

"Of course not. Well not that obvious. But would a normal person really enter this fort? I call it a suicide mission, so you Must be a maniac. Don't worry, my good man. Everybody you see here is. But take care of the Eladrin. He's even more crazy."

Nadarr inclines his head to Alexander and thanks him for the hook. He then gives him as much food as he wants for the croc.

One good turn deserves another.

He then tries to climb into the alcove with the hook and rope.
After a few tries, you latch onto the rock outcrop. You climb up and find the pile of discarded items from the prey; bones, weapons, and some torn clothing.

Notices the lack of an answer about Symon and turns to Isbat to eye him wholly.

"Great! Another maniac joins the group!"

Alexander then goes and feeds as well as plays with the croc while the party decides what to do.

"Who's a good boy? Oh yes you are. Don't worry boy, stick around long enough and you'll never grow hungry. See these scary men over here? That weird one over there that looks like he's both annoyed and bored? He has a friend you could play around with. No eating though. Same goes for the other scaly one's friend. Who knows, you might be related to him yourself. No eating random animals either, boy. If you do that we'll both be in trouble and no food for you. Understand? Attaboy."

Perception check on the Cave Crocodile

((Meaning I abstain from voting where to go.))

Thoradin speaks up after the silence at Symon's mention.

"The lad... Is no longer amongst the living... The damned blade spider ya see over there took his head clean off and drained him. Poor lad... He was just a child... Nadarr have him a burial worthy of a king, which is why yer hound is havin' trouble smellin'. I say we get movin'; that damned wurm will come back when we least expect it."

"Oh..."

((You triple quoted my post btw. Might want to fix that.

The perception check is on whether my croc's male or female and those kind of things. Behavior and stuff towards me.))

Nadarr quickly searches through the items, but does so carefully, especially with the weapons, to see exactly what they are.

You find nothing but rusted junk and torn cloth. Some of the weapons are so rusted, there are holes that are eaten straight through the metal

He goes down and puts away the rope and grappling hook.

Nothing there.

Perception check on the Cave Croc.

((Gender for example among other things.))

Perception check on everything else. Let's see if our buddies missed something.

Cromwell shifts uneasily.

"Am I the only one that heard that, or simply the only one who cares? We should focus less on looting the place and more on getting the h*^& out of here."

Cromwell turns back to the way that he and Thor came.

"We saw a passage back from where we were, we should check it out."

Nadarr shrugs, calls his light back to his staff and goes the way indicated.

Karl kneels before the spot where Symon burned and prays to the Raven Queen to guard and guide the young cleric's soul safely to the realm of Bahamut, that he might rest in peace, unlike so many of their fallen comrades. Lost in his prayers, it is only when the others begin to leave that he looks up, rises to his feet and follows after, his hound following at his heels.

"I think I shall name you. How about... Siga. It's an old name, but I think that it fits you."

Karl and Siga follow after Nadarr and the others, moving close to the front of the group.

((Alexander one pet. Nadarr a familiar and a pet. Weston a familiar. Cromwell a pet (reindeer) and item (troll). Karl an item-induced pet.))

((For the record, I just wrote down Karl and Alexander's new XP total, and Karl leveled up. I need 2 stat ups from you and a feat as well. PM me ASAP with those))

You take the grappling hook and go back up. (14+10) You find nothing as well. You then NATURE check the crocodile. (19+9) It is female, starving and obviously malnourished. Its also very sensitive to sound and touch, but its eyes aren't the best, especially in sunlight. (14+10) You find another passageway as you search the area. (?) The smell of smoke goes away as you searched and...

Karl kneels before the spot where Symon burned and prays to the Raven Queen to guard and guide the young cleric's soul safely to the realm of Bahamut, that he might rest in peace, unlike so many of their fallen comrades. Karl and Siga follow after Nadarr and the others, moving close to the front of the group.
... Sigia ignores Cromwell's claim to turn back and regains the scent. The hound picks up speed and barks at you to follow down the path Alexander just found. The hound starts to head forward, sniffing the ground. The party must choose; follow the hound, or follow Cromwell's advice?

"Well would you look at that, Cromwell. It seems the hound shares your interest."

Alexander says with an amused smile and follows the hound.
