((Trollface? Really? ಠ_ಠ ))

Weston had no idea what to do with the shrunken head, but he would deal with that some other time. He closed the lid and rejoined his companions.
Before you get the chance to, it speaks.

Wow, aren' YA a sight ta see afta bein' in tha box for so lon'. I can' tell if I wanna kiss ya or scream in horro'.

You try to close the box.

Oy! Do ya really wan' ta throw me away afta findin me, mon? I can help a mon out if ya let me.

His accent is heavy, almost hard to understand. Thoradin shakes his head after he does a facepalm

Just make sure he wears a boot.

Weston frowned doubtfully.
"Pardon me for saying, but you're a head in a box. A talking head in a box, granted, but still a head in a box. How can you help me?"

((I think someone's been playing Planescape: Torment :P ))

He seems to want you to arcana check him. Do you?

((Also, I have no idea what that is...))

((Planescape: Torment is an RPG taking place in a...really weird part of the D&D universe. One of the main characters is a talking, floating, wisecracking disembodied skull.))

Arcana check! Summon Unseen Aid to help out.

((I got the idea after this guy bugged me for weeks about giving him a talking artifact. I gave in and made my own so he can stop harassing me. Plus, in Necrothreat, Trollheads were an actual enemy modded in))

You pick up the Trollhead. Immediatley, you feel a magical bond form between you and him JUST by touching him. (17+9) He is the Head of Uristash. He bonds with whomever touches him first until he is fully satisfied with you ((DM's discretion, concordance, etc.)). His concordance starts at 5. Gaining a level will raise his concordance, as is the following:

- Insulting or pulling pranks on other creatures (excluding him)
- Jokes to him or other creatures that he enjoys
- Annoying or pestering enemies mid combat
- Letting him insult the carrier and getting a reaction

Lowering his concordance is triggered by the following:

- Insulting or pulling pranks of the Trollhead of Uristash
- Bad jokes
- Failing to insult or prank someone in a day
- Being prevented from talking, being abandoned

You gain the following benefit carrying the Trollhead in his current state:

+2 to bluff checks

You gain the Distracting Taunt power:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Thoradin shakes his head again in disapproval and embarrassment.

"NOW I remember what that is. One of the Nobles had a strange head that he got so sick and annoyed of because it wouldn't leave him alone. He found it and had no idea what to do with it, to the point he locked it in that box and then killed himself."

"So DA'S wha' 'appened to da bloodclot. If I 'ad a body, I'd piss on 'is corpse."

"...Ya see what I mean with how annoying it got. Might as well be cursed; it will NEVER leave ye alone now that ye picked it up.

Oh, and yer "bloodclot" is dead. Has been fer years. There's nothing left of his body in his coffin I bet."

((Well it was more of a worthless item than a practical one since the original had no bonuses, only a talking head for my comedy enjoyment. So you can't really call it an all important artifact.))

((Oh dear. Got to say, he's going to have to try hard to beat Morte, though. Planescape is still one of my most favorite RPGs that I've ever played.))

Karl just shakes his head at the strange head. "just as long as it knows enough to keep silent when we're trying to sneak somewhere, or set an ambush."

((An excellent game for sure. I didn't think anything could've gripped so much nowadays. Excellent oldie. The plan was for Aurel to do the comedic stunts mostly though. On that note, what other RPG games would you suggest?))

((You say it as if you were the one that suggested it. The original head was supposed to make the whole game more funny through Aurel's frustration of trying to get rid of it, making jokes along with it and generally trying a lot of stuff with it, most ending with Aurel rolling his eyes. The sole purpose was not to piss Aurel off. Sure you might've tried, but the reaction was completely in the hands of Aurel, i.e. me. And as I said, the whole point was to add comedy. You'd think I'd know. I have no idea what the current head will do since this one even has +bluff bonuses, so good luck, Weston.))

Nadarr examines the map yet again, and if he fails to be able to use it passes it on to someone else.
