Standard: Holy Strike on FC4


"The doors are open! Everyone fall back before those husks begin to cross!"

You down a healing potion ((Because for some reason, you have 12 and no cure light wounds potions on my CB)) and lay on hands yourself, healing for (10+10)hp! You are no longer bloodied! You bring down your blade on Flesh-Crazed Zombie4! (13+8) You hit, dealing (8+3) radiant damage!

Husk4 beats his shield in time as well, waiting for the bridge to extend!

Nadarr begins his turn!

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

Nadarr uses Dragon Breath on FC4, if it still lives. If not, he uses it on FC1

Nadarr uses Burning Hands on FC4
Nadarr uses Dragon Breath on FC4, if it still lives. If not, he uses it on FC1
Nadarr heads quickly in through the gap, sticking close to the wall to avoid opportunity attacks from FC4!

You cast burning hands! (13+5) You hit, dealing (12+5) fire damage! Flesh-Crazed Zombie4 is bloodied! You breathe dragon fire at FC4! (11+5) (7+5) You hit the zombie and miss Alexander! You deal (3+1) damage! You run into the fortess, but take an oppertunity attack form FC4! He hits, dealing (13) damage! You are at 3 hp and are in critical condition! You see a large opening off to the side and a familiar figure wearing a black cloak and hood. Thoradin turns around and you are met with his face, disfigured from what you guess to be Archuther's blade as his left face is still red and black from the wound. The scars seem to cover the fact his left eye is torn right out of its socket, and his armor is beaten and battered. He sill carries his large axe in hand.

"Moradin be praised! Ya bastards made it alive! You, ye're hurt, so pull this lever when I tell ye to. I'm going out there to try an' give yer frien's a 'and."


Thoradin joins the party!


You're not sure, but you smell something... Strange and yet familiar about Thoradin. It was faint before when you met him, almost unnoticeable, but now its stronger. You dismiss it as there are more important things at hand. The lever he indicated is marked on the map, there are two more on the other side of it. Inside appears to be a caravan docking station of a sorts. There are random barrels and containers scattered around the room. You notice behind you is another door. The hall continues down and forks to the left and right.

Husk5 extends the bridge more as does Husk6!

Zombie17 shuffles out of the water!

Husk7 beats his shield! You hear Thoradin cursing in dwarven again!

Weston begins his turn!

After the bolt does it's thing, move inside. Can't expect a squishy sorcerer to be good at holding the line in melee.

You cast chaos bolt! (12+6) You hit, dealing (10+7) psychic damage! Flesh-Crazed Zombie4 drops dead! It bounces over to Zombie13! (18+6) You hit again, dealing (4+1) damage! It bounces towards Zombie7! (CRIT) Zombie7 drops dead in a mushy pulp! It boucnes over to Flesh-Crazed Zombie5! (17+6) You hit, dealing (5+1) damage and you stop bouncing.

((Do you wish to use your chaos storm dagger ability? Hanzoku just informed me that there was a major change to the magic item system and the daily item power thing is not apparent anymore))

((Lets you bounce on an odd roll of your dice. I'm going to say at how its worded, it resets the bounce count for Chaos bolt so enemies you already hit can be hit again. However, its still 1d6+1. It also works for Acid Orb or any other Arcane at will if I recall))

((I'll throw you in the waitlist. I guarantee that by the end of this entire fortress, if the party is still at full strength with no more deaths, they at least had everyone at one point drop to 0hp or less (not at the same time of course)))

((Yeah, okay. Do it! We need bounces right now!))

You use the power in your dagger as the chaos storm begins again! You attack Zombie13! (8+6) You hit, dealing (5+1) psychic damage! It bounces to Flesh-Crazed Zombie5! (3+6) you miss! You turn and book it down the hall! You escape the bite of Flesh-Crazed Zombie5 as you do so. Thoradin nods at you, his missing eye makes you feel VERY uneasy as his face is no longer jolly and confident, but now grim and hard.

Zombie1 tries to grab Cromwell! It fails to do so!

Husk8 and 9 beat their shields!

Zombie13 tries to grab Karl! It also fails to latch on!

More dead arrive, roughly 14 more. These ones bear the black aura of the shadow creatures but their bones and rotted flesh are melded together. A couple of them throw some Husks into the water, hurling them with what appears to be light pushes. You're certain this is probably the perfection of shadow magic and necromancy. They all bear the brutal weapons of the shadow creatures as well.

Symon runs into the hall, taking an attack from Zombie1! It hits, dealing (8) damage!

The husks finish the bridge! Husk13 starts to cross!

Flesh-Crazed Zombie1 attacks Cromwell! He hits, dealing (8) damage! Cromwell is now diseased and is at 1hp!

Shadow Zombie3 moves onto the bridge!

Thoradin moves up and charges Flesh-Crazed Zombie5! You hear the deep roar echo throughout the halls as his mouth foams up and he brings his axe down on the undead creature, slashing deep into him and dealing (12) damage! He then changes shape before your eyes, as his beard shrinks into his chin but hair goes all over his body as the same color as his dark brown beard! His nose and mouth extend out and canines grow out of his mouth. His axe is dropped at his feet as claws spring out of his hands! Thoradin is now in wolf form as he is still frothing at the mouth in his berserker rage, swinging his claws at the same zombie again! He lands a (CRIT) as he deals (21) damage! Flesh-Crazed Zombie5 is bloodied!

Husk1 and 2 climb out of the water after taking a standard action to get up!

Cromwell teleports out and runs down the hall!

More undead cross tyhe bridge! It creaks under their weight, cracks a bit, but doesn't break!

Zombie11 tries to grab Karl! He slips and falls prone before the paladin as he (FUMBLES)!

Husk10 and 11 move up as one of the Shadow zombies starts to march towards your side. Husk3 moves onto the shore as well.

Zombie12 attempts to grab Alexander! He misses!

Alexander begins his turn! As far as you know, Zombie12 is bloodied

((If Symon didn't get possessed, I'm certain he would be trying to fight the Shadow Zombies. I recommend you don't, the Husks will be a challenge enough))
