We may as well take a left, if no one disagrees?

History check on whatever Mastahcheese is!

"Would that not make us risk another loop? I put my vote for straight ahead."

Give me a check on Impiltur (not sure what kind of check it is).
((How would you know it when you were asleep when it was spoken about?))

((Fine... I'm gonna start calling bull on some of these if you pull this off regularly...))

(2+2) ... Whats an Impiltur?

"I vote left, left has failed me fewer times than right or straight have, in the past."
Cromwell notices the Dragon-Born analyzing him.
"Before you consider asking, I don't roll that way. Ladies only."
Cromwell strokes his chin, lamenting the lack of a beard.
"And no elves."

(2 left vs 1 straight)
The party votes to go left!

You travel for an hour and a half until you come across a cavern. There appears to be strange markings on the walls of the cavern here... And by strange, there are entire 3" wide lines that cover the place. You can obviously tell they're not natural, but what can cut perfectly through solid stone? You advance into the cavern. Aurel sees more gashes as you advance, the others seem to struggle in the dark. Aurel sees the back of the cavern but there only see small 2" holes in the wall.

Nothing else really catches your eye here. What does the party do?

Symon jumps out of the wagon and examines the markings (Use Perception and Religion).

((I assume Aurel tells you of the holes and you shed some light))
You don't sense anything with religion check. (12+11) The holes are unnatural and seem to go in about 6" in. Its uncertain exactly what they are, but you notice the area around it is a little charred. You try and get your hand in an pull out a strange metal object that is reduced to almost nothing. It reminds you of a tiny metal mushroom. You also don't want to try eating it

Karl inspects some of the gashes, feeling the smooth edges with his fingertips. "Odd. Does anyone have enough skill with rock to tell if these are freshly carved, or if a crazed dwarf a century ago was obsessed with cutting perfectly smooth lines in the stone in random places?"

No one in the party can confirm it, but you're pretty sure its fresh; the charred area gives that away.

Use Light to illuminate the cavern, and do all manner of appropriate checks on the markings, such as Arcana, perception, etc. Also, have a look around and see if there are perhaps things lying elsewhere in the cave. Ask to see the "Metallic mushroom-like thing", and then see if Nadarr recognises it. Also, Arcana check it.

Hit me with every check I can do about this cave.

Aurel gets a bad vibe from this place. A very bad vibe. So bad he can't stay still.

"I... I..."

"I think we should get going... rather fast too. This place is not of... natural origin."

((And by fast I mean run the hell out of the maze.))
