((Hey, my prime shot ability only works if I'm closest to an enemy, do I still get that bonus while mounted? Because my Reindeer seems to be pretty awesome.

But before I do anything stupid [relatively speaking, for me] could I see my steed's stats?))

Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

((Hmm, maybe I'll keep her as a backup tank. Do I get a height advantage over enemies while I'm mounted?))

Symon gets into position behind Karl.

"Uh, are these things common around here?"

Nadarr stands in his position as the others assemble in their respective positions. He takes a cursory glance around. He sees Cromwell. He looks back to the cave entrance. With surprise evident on his face, he jerks his head around again. He then notices the random reindeer. Considers the bottle of alcohol in his backpack and considers never, ever using it again.

Em. When did he get here? I'm never told anything... Nadarr mumbles the last bit of his sentence resentfully.

And why has he got a damn moose!

Recalls Cromwell speaking earlier, though he had thought he was merely talking to himself again.

Cromwell pulled his trousers back up and walked over to the cave mouth with the others.
"Huh, these aren't the bogeys I remember fighting, where'd I end up at?"
Mount my noble steed!
"Well, I may be out of power, but I'll be d$%^ed if anyone says I'll go down without a fight!"

And why the hell does he sound exactly the same as me!

Everyone begins to take their positions as the dark creatures begin to come. Lights begin to fade away except from Archuther's glaive. The new ones take the front lines as the old ones take to the rear. It seems that the ones you are familiar with are eager to see the others fight. Archuther can see most of the enemies coming from the path and the wall, but he watches as more begin to come.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The enemy starts off! BK8 sits idly, staring at Archuther.

Archuther begins his turn. Though you do not use them, your arcane senses are going wild! Whatever these things are, you can detect them, and there are way to many for you to get an accurate number. You also can't help but feel something familiar from one of your previous missions, as if something here is... Wrong. You immediately assume these beings as something worse then Xenos and Mutants; they appear warped from what you can tell. In this moment, you can only think of your deep hatred for the warp storm, believing its taint has reached planets yet to have been discovered.

((For lighting purposes, archuther's glaive shines low light for now that reaches the entire area. Anyone without low light vision or better takes a penalty to hit, especially with ranged weapons, excluding any area of effect attacks))
