((I'd like to see how a Grey Knight stats out in D&D 4e. I'm also glad we don't have any psionic-based classes (as far as I know), since I think that'd probably make him freak out. ))

Check the rope to make sure it's securely tied, borrow the lit torch and then go down into the cave and mark the entrances with sunlight with a rock formation at each one. That way, if we pass by, we'll know that we don't need to explore further. Once that's done, climb back up to the group.

Karl raises an eyebrow and shrugs before turning to face the owl. Bowing formally, he asks quite diplomatically "Wise and beautiful owl, would you please aid us by taking wing and scouting the other path at the fork?"

The bird takes wing and does so. Weston sees through her eyes the path you all took before to get here. She flies back to the fork where Lord Archuther was found and takes the right path. She flies in and goes down a bit, but not by much. The path winds about for a bit until you see another fork. Nimue goes left and follows it, and it turns as it goes deeper down. She flies on and sees a little bit of light shining from an opening. She flies up to see and everyone is surprised to see Nimue pop out of the hole before them!

Well, I assume that means she found a different path. I suggest we follow her. Nod to the owl in appreciation. Collect my rope and torch from Karl, then get on the wagon and wait for the others to mount.

Karl blinks and smiles wryly "Well, I wasn't expecting that, exactly. I guess the path loops around, but if we can follow the right-hand fork with the wagon, so much the better."
