"You're one to talk, Cromwell, being an Eladrin and all."

((Er? I sort of figured that we would, you know, make sure our unconscious companion was properly covered at night. I've at least mentioned Karl checking on Nadarr a few times already.

Could you give us warnings when something like this is going to come up? It's not something I thought to mention for the night given that I sort of assumed that it would have been handled, and I'd rather not have to write out a page of maintenance actions to cover events like this every time we go to sleep.))

Karl shakes his head and mounts his horse more normally - platemail just doesn't really allow backflipping onto a horse. He looks on with interest as Thyra and Cromwell start getting into their argument.

Charming Gaze on Thyra

"Now, now, let's all calm down. What I believe Cromwell was trying to say is that Thyra is a very unique and distinguishable elf that doesn't act like most of her people do. It does indeed give a few impressions. I am confdeint Cromwell had meant no harm to neither of you. In fact, he might have even been complimenting you on you stepping down from the pack and choosing your own path and personality. So as you can see, Cromwell wasn't insulting neither Thyra, elves, nor you, Weston. As we know, it's hard for our companion to warm up to people. Maybe this is his way, all things considered?"

(?) She forces the bedroll into your hands.

"Just do as I said if you want Nadarr to not get worse.

And Cromwell, you're fey as well, so you may as well have elf blood in your veins."

"All I'm saying is that you all should calm down. The past few days have worn on us a lot, for good reason too. We can't be having inter disputes so close to danger."

Deals with Nadarr, pestering anybody coming nearby to bugger off.

You tell Symon to give Nadarr some privacy as you cover the cart with his bedroll. Its soaked, but it drips to the sides of the cart and not on top of Nadarr. You strip him down and, careful to not touch anything necessary, you put him in Thyra's bedroll. You notice his body is damp and his skin is almost as pale as his face. Whatever he contracted, it wasn't something nice you expect. Hopefully, he will be able to stay warm as Thyra says he should.

((Again, that's the sort of thing that I assumed that we would automatically be considered to do. For the record, we're dribbling water in his mouth so he doesn't die of dehydration and cleaning him up so he doesn't wake up in a pile of processed mugger.  ;) ))

Excluding the bickering, ((I have to again assume, which I hate doing...)) everyone gets on their mount/cart and heads south. (?) The fog makes you all feel a little uneasy, slowing your pace a little, and it refuses to let up. The damp air feels very off for the early fall, but you try to make do. (?) You make very little distance from before midday. (?) The fog gets thicker (?) but you start to make more progress. You all have some trail rations on the move and Karl tosses his meat at the Kruthik so she doesn't go hungry. (?) The fog lets up and you go at a better pace. By sundown, you make it a fair distance.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Do you advance into the night or do you stop for the night?

Symon hunches his shoulders and looks around at everyone, trying to maintain a stoic look on his face.

((Sorry, but given we are playing a forum game across a number of different timezones, I think some assuming is necessary. We can always work out 'wait, but I...' situations.))

Karl checks on Nadarr, noting how he is far paler then his normal color. "I have to agree. Nadarr doesn't look like he's doing too well. But we'll need some more light if we travel into the night like this."

((Do a Heal check to see if Karl can do anything for Nadarr's condition.))
