((Feel free to backtrack me in time))

Karl leaves the inn and heads for the docks, trying to follow the howling. If he sees any of his companions heading that way, he'll join up. We've had far too many strange things happen not to investigate howling wolves in the city.

((Oh for the love of... Well, it really will be a parody if Thyra has Aurel's half-vampire baby who'll punch her spine in half from the inside. And then the forums will be sued for copyright infringement. :P))

Weston chills out at the inn, trusting the town guards to take care of this wild wolf.

Symon does stop, mostly because he recognizes Aurel.

You follow Thyra (15+4) and Cromwell out with the two guards who exited the inn

Weston chills out at the inn, trusting the town guards to take care of this wild wolf.
You watch Karl walk out the inn as well. If the guards and them can't handle it, who can?

Symon does stop, mostly because he recognizes Aurel.
You do so. (?) You hear faintly the sounds of someone running and panting in the warehouse.

Symon walks over to the warehouse and tries to peek inside.

Charming Gaze and whatever I can squeeze for a Bluff check!

"There were some wolves in cages brought from the docks and suddenly the person responsible for transporting them was getting mugged. Apparently somehow the wolves managed to escape from their cages and started mauling people and searching for food. I'm merely running away from the threat. I think most of the wolves went that way!"

Points in the direction opposite of Nadarr and not in the direction from which the Guards came. Basically somewhere where they'll not find him.

Sees Symon.

"Ah, Symon. I suggest you return to the Tavern. It's gotten late and there are wolves on the prowl. Let's leave it to the guards. We need to get back with the group."

"If there's wolves about it is my duty to stop them if I can," Symon says confidently.

"I thought your duty was to purge evil in the name of Bahamut or something? These are just hungry animals. Let's leave it to the guards, lad. We shouldn't be messing in city affairs anyways."

((Well then, Symon will have to follow the guards in their quest for the wolves! Here's to hoping they believe Aurel...

Also, don't speak to me of Twilight. It ruined a genre.))

"My duty is to purge evil, protect the innocent and bring justice in Bahamut's holy name. I cannot stand by and let even simple wolves attack innocent people."

(16+12+4 vs 2+6) the guards find it unlikely but the walk off. More guards show up with Thyra, Cromwell, and Karl. You tell the next guards the same story (19+12 vs 5+4 vs 3+7 vs 17+4) and they believe it too.

Symon walks over to the warehouse and tries to peek inside.
You look inside anyway as the guards walk off. You see blood covering the walls and dismembered bodies lie the place. You see a guy drop down from an upper floor and run down. You're about to go inside when the guy jumps through the window and a werewolf jumps down and sniffs the air and turns around and leaps through the window, and glass is heard shattering.

Quickly follow Symon and pull him outta there!

"You should have not checked that, Symon. I saw what that creature did. Even if we grouped on it, we'd be hard-pressed. The bodies are a testament to that. I almost got caught as well."

Thyra looks puzzled.

"Symon... What did you see?"
