Symon grabs his flail, jumps out of the wagon, and unhesitantly walks up the spire to follow the blood trail.
You slowly walk/march up the spire... Thyra grabs her longbow and follows behind you. She starts to sing a soothing song that calms your ever shaking nerves. For once, you're glad she's with you. You go up the spire, your heart pounding out of your chest in fear, and you can tell as you quickly look behind you that Thyra looks more scared then you are. Slowly you make it up to the blood tainted cave, and as you turn to enter it, Thyra gasps before you can get a good enough glimpse ((low light vision)). She takes a few steps back and her face is white as a ghost as she can only stare; stare at the corpse of a dwarf whose entrails cover the entire cave, and a massive gash cut sraight from his hip straight to above the heart. He appears to have bled out instead of dying instantly, for you see a blood trail coming from the cave's mouth. You can see he fragments of broken ribcage strewn across the floor and everywhere you look, a thick layer of blood stains the walls and floor. You remember the telefragging incidents with Cromwell and your stomach grew queasy; this here wants to make you vomit. You see that he still has most of his gear intact. You see a sword in one hand, and a large sack in the other. Both are coated in blood, but don't appear to be damaged. Thyra walks up to you and speaks. She stopped singing when she saw the place. Her quivering voice seems to invoke a little bravery into you; after all, if you don't appeared scared or sick, then maybe she won't feel as terrified or sickened by this scene.

"P-probably. Or Archuther." Symon pauses for a moment, wondering if that was the best thing to say.

"If they got to him... Does this mean he came back from the dead?"

Pure shock befalls her face.

Symon turns back to looking at the corpse to hide the embarassment growing on his face, "M-maybe."

Check the contents of the pouch the corpse was holding.

You find inside, a lot of random objects. Small, but expensive looking trinkets mostly, a book with no title, and lastly, a set of bracers. Thyra looks at the book and says it's probably his journal.

Karl waits at the bottom of the spiral ramp, uncertain if there will be enough room up there for everyone to climb up. He raises his voice instead. "Are you both alright?"

Considering how many bodies they had seen lately, Weston was curious as to what could have spoiled the two so badly. He decided to walk up the spiral and see for himself.
