Stumbles slightly as he walks.

On second thoughts, Aurel, I would much appreciate that bed. Sorry if I offended: You learn to be suspicious in this world of ours. I concur, Gonzou. The toy soldier must die.

"I most definitely did get a letter that was less than satisfactory. What say you three of coming over to my house and discussing this? I live near the Emir's Court and would love to get to know my future companions. You can also rest there, Nadarr."

"S-sure. I w-wouldn't mind."

"So,any amazing adventure i should be hearing from any of you ?"

"N-no..."

"Apology accepted, Nadarr. This is a dangerous world that we live in."

Karl follows after the others at a steady pace. "Well, that went to the Nine Hells in a hurry. I take it that you'd prefer to avoid using his cart and horse, Aurel? I'm fine with that, but we may want to visit the stable where they're located, if only to see if he left the rations and our travel funds there. Otherwise, it's going to become a long and hungry journey, at least in my case."

"I believe that it would be best if we took the carts and horses. I've also heard of this fortress and if the rumors are true, it is abundant in treasure. I will not force you to do so if you do not wish to risk it though. We will just have to be very careful for the cart and horse not to be damaged. I will go to the stables in the morning and take one, as well as anything else that he might have left for travelling. You do as you will."

"So,any amazing adventure i should be hearing from any of you ?"

I have my fair share of horror stories but they are for the warm light of a campfire, of which we will have much time.

Come now, my house is just this way.

Leads the way to his house.

After a good few minutes of talking, you make it to Aurel's house. Its a rather basic noble's home. Its rather large with three stories and a basement. It does seem to have less windows then normal. The exterior walls have a crimson pattern on them. It looks really nice for a noble's house.

Here we are. A beautiful place, no? I designed it myself. Now before we enter I'd have to ask you to wait for a bit. Prepare things inside. I believe you'll like it. Here. Sit on the bench over here. I'll be right back!

Karl shakes his head in response to Auril's words. "No, merely a mistaken assumption, as he mentioned the stables were near the west gate. I agree that we should bring the horse and cart, though given the ruins have been abandoned for a while, I suspect the rumors of great treasures are just that - rumors.

After Auril hurries inside, Karl takes a seat on the bench, a brief smirk crossing his lips. Given his robes, I wonder if he isn't hiding away the results of some magic experiments. The Cowled Wizards don't look kindly on outsiders practicing their trade.

Those outside his door, who see him through the windows (Symon and Nadarr) see him coming back and lighting the main hallway and rushing back outside.

"I am ready! I think you will like my abode.  Come. Enter."

Opens the front two doors, letting light spill from inside as I enter the main antechamber.

Enters the house, giving a cursory glimpse to the surroundings

Sorry to be hasty, but where is that bed, Aurel? I am mightily fatigued

"Just before the end of that corridor over there on the second floor, Nadarr. One of the best beds I've got. "

Point at the right side of the second floor after the stairs.

"But would you not prefer a meal first? I've got a plate for you as well in the dining hall. Well if you're hungry, just come over. It's over there. Come now, everybody, don't be shy."

Start walking towards the dining hall which is located on the left corridor in one of the rooms on the right.
