Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

((He figured it out! Sorry aobut the lack of a map guys. I'll get it up as soon as I'm home. I forgot about my night class that I have :-[  ))

Cromwell, at being barely slapped, falls flat on his face.
"Dude, I just used up, like, all of my powers. My terrible word failed, my doom star failed, the only thing I got left is the ability to teleport, since I only needed a smoky step or whatever for that."
Cromwell solemnly sat back up.
"You understand that? I'm burnt out. I need to rest."
Cromwell falls backwards, and begins snoring.
You can't seem to sleep with all the cackling and fell speaking.

"Oh for the love of..."

Steal Cromwell's pants and shove them in his face.

"Symon, with Karl! Nadarr and Weston behind them. Be sure to leave some space for Grot and me too, wizards."
(?) He's well aware you're stealing his pants, and you fail to do so.
"Oh for the love of..."

Steal Cromwell's pants and shove them in his face.
If this would be successful, teleport away, after grabbing their own pants.
You have your pants down to your knees and try to teleport away! Something interrupts your teleport and you realize you're trapped in this cave and up to what appears to be a dark wall off to the side. Something tells you that the walls are what interrupts your teleport away from here.

Symon sticks with the party.

"Um..." Symon gestures at the creatures with his flail, "Aren't they going after Archuther?"
The laughing continues, and then familiar figures appear behind the normal disfigured shapes. They look less deformed, still made of shadow but appear to be like corpses. They walk on four limbs and resemble insects, but something tells you they aren't insects at all. Their teeth appear more sharper but not as large and jagged as the others. A quick look to your right reveals to you the corpses look almost exactly like the new arrivals

"All I can do is throw explosive fireballs around for light, sorry. Wait. Actually..."

Weston draws the lightning dagger and activates it.

((Does the dagger emit any sort of light? Also, can I get a recap of its properties? I sorta forgot :P ))
((Ahem))

"Tsk. Get in line with the magicians atleast."

Go next to Karl & Archuther if there's enough space. If not, then behind them.

((I had to prop on my laptop (which i am now) to see its effects

The dagger doesn't emit light, but your attacks, if you channeled to lightning, will shine low light on the enemy you're hitting, but it won't be enough to actually hurt them.

Heres the effects:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

There are other effects, but it requires superior impliment training (lancing dagger) to use the effects (empowered crit, energized)))

((Lightning damage and an impliment weapon? Still good for a sorcerer. And note, its ability works on a miss like chaos bolt for any at will attack

And I don't know if it is allowed, but I think you can continue the bounce chain with chaos bolt))

((I meant useful for fighting shadow beasts. I was hoping it'd shed light or something :P
Obviously still a good weapon, especially with my new feat, but I suffer from a severe lack of light sources and attacks.))

Cromwell pulled his trousers back up and walked over to the cave mouth with the others.
"Huh, these aren't the bogeys I remember fighting, where'd I end up at?"
Mount my noble steed!
"Well, I may be out of power, but I'll be d$%^ed if anyone says I'll go down without a fight!"
