((There was actually a period where I wasn't keeping up with the thread, so I missed the shadows completely, but I won't go back and read about them for in-character reasons. Maybe one day I'll make a PbP game where I use some of the more insane concepts I devised for DMing. Like how I figured out some ways to incorporate the mass combat rules into small scale, and still be fun.))

((I hope you didn't miss the second time I, uh, stole Nadarr's Pants. I didn't realize it was so easy to steal pants as long as they are asleep.

I like how you do things, Highmax28. There's a bit too much fighting and less roleplaying if you ask me but I'm sure there's reasons for that. And there's one thing I can say for the future. Olon is definitely getting some daggers up his throat. I never liked the guy since the beginning.))
((And you all wonder why I dropped the mountain maze on you guys... You can all blame this guy :P

And I'm more then certain Olon shares that love... Nadarr pissed him off, as did a few other things...))

((My specialty! Anyway, to my move))

Use everything to run to the bear.

((If I make it without using everything, let me know and I'll post something else.))

You double run again, making it up to the bears cave finally. You're out of move actions however.

The reindeer riding mystery begins his turn! (You're prone)

((You fell off the reindeer last turn if I recall))
You stand up and then you dread star the bear! (crit fail) ... You DON'T dread star the bear! The attack back fires! (?) luckily for you, the backfire didn't do too much to hurt you, only givinng you minor burns, dealing (3) damage to you!

((I'm hoping that it focuses on the Space Marine in its face instead of the guy behind it, trying to stab it through the armor plates. I deliberately didn't use divine challenge, since that would definitely provoke a mauling.

The thought is appreciated, though!))

Action Point: Second Wind

((I can hopefully tank a hit then. I'd prefer not to, of course.))

Shift to reestablish flanking, switch from shortsword to longsword and attack with Bolstering Strike.
You shift and get flanking with Archuther. You drop your shortsword and swing with your longsword using bolstering strike! (4+7) You miss the bear! You second wind on an action point and end your turn after gaining (10) hp!

Grot begins his turn! He runs up to the bear and uses inflict minor wounds! He misses, but the bear takes (4) damage and the bear is weakened until the end of grot's next turn!

The bear begins its turn! The bear turns to the goblin and lets out a mighty roar! He swings his claws! It hits and deals (6) damage! He swings again! He critical fails as he swings, smacking the point of Grot's blade, dealing (4) damage!

Symon begins his turn!

Move Action: Shift into flanking if not already.
Major Action: Avenging Echo the bear!
Minor Action: Try not to die Nothing.

The bear is already flanked, and you cannot shift to flank it (the bear is a 2x2 creature, this thing is MASSIVE). You avenging echo the bear! (15+9+2) you hit the bear! (5+3+5) damage with (5+2) radiant damage! The bear grunts in pain from the latter. You mutter a prayer to Bahamut under your breath that you all make it out of here alive.

Lord Archuther begins his turn. As his turn begins, everyone notices the sun is starting to retreat from the area you are in; nightfall approaches.
