"I suggest you folks pick a path, and fast."

Goes next to Nadarr at the wagon wearing a scowl.
Archuther says you should go left. He puts up a convincing argument.

Karl tries to recall his geography classes to remember where each path will lead to. Then again, the half-giant who just killed a big demon in one blow says to go left. We should probably just go left.

"I'd like to discuss your case with a high priest of the Raven Queen at some point, Aurel. Given you were born into this family, you had no say in what you are. However, I would like the advice of someone more learned in the ways of the Raven Queen to be fully comfortable with your unique... abilities."

Nod at Karl and give him a witty reply.

"Do I get to choose the high priest then, all things considered?"

Karl chuckles with a short nod.

"That's fair. I wouldn't want to discuss this with one of the more conservative that would be breaking out the torch and building a pyre a few minutes into the conversation."

Left, Nadarr says, groaning in the middle of it. We should go left.

The party follows Archuther, and go down the left path. You go through until the path leads unto an underpass. You go on a little more and come across an opening which leads to a dead end. There seems to be no way out of this spot except the way you came.

"Do you have one of those handy portals ready, Lord Archuther? I take it you knew where we were going, judging from your confidence."

Search the area for any signs this cave has been used before - perhaps there's a hidden entrance.

Search the area for any signs this cave has been used before - perhaps there's a hidden entrance.
You look around and find a bunch of rubble. A closer look reveals there is a passage under it large enough for Archuther to squeeze through, and normally for everyone else.

"Do you have one of those handy portals ready, Lord Archuther? I take it you knew where we were going, judging from your confidence."
He simply replies, "I do not."

Grot pokes about the hole and can see that if you went in there, you would have to abandon the cart and horses.

"I don't fancy ditching the horses. Maybe we could split? Meet at the mountainhomes that the dwarves said about?"

Not just yet, Aurel. I don't know how many of us would survive to meet up again...

Use ritual to detect hidden doors

((Doubt there will be one in a cave, but who knows, lol.

"Do you know where we would end up if we travel through this passage, Lord Archuther? I agree with Aurel, we should not lightly abandon our mounts and supplies without need."

I say we go back and check other paths. Who knows, they may loop around again behind this cave and we won't lose out.

((Think I better explain myself before we go on. A friend from my actual D&D group wanted to be part of the fun, but make a little cameo appearance as a slight joke. Well, Lord Archuther will now be played by him, but he won't hang around forever, so don't worry. I hope some of you know what he is (Looking at you Sirus...)

Oh, and good luck through the mountains. Don't expect as many battles here))
