I think it's about time I got back into the adventure-running game. I've been feeling the itch that only running a forum adventure can scratch for quite a while, the reason I haven't is just that I keep having ideas for adventures and I can't choose between them. I know I want to run an adventure centered around one character unlike my build a ____ games so here is what I am going to do: I'm going to get you guys to suggest a character, them I'm going to build a setting around that.

There isn't any real limit here apart from your character having to be human. Since the setting will be decided in relation to the character you can be a pike-man, deep space engineer or a space wizard.

Profession isn't a mandatory field, it's just there so that if you want to be a Palace guard you can specify that. Primary skill should relate to your profession(if you have one) but if you are a space marine who likes to make make exotic hats in your spare time and have it as a secondary skill, that's alright with me.

Other is where you should put special stuff, like you are missing an arm or survived a death spell as a toddler and now have a stylish head wound.

You may also have noticed I have had a little change of art (pun unintentional I swear). I decided to use spaghetti legs since they make the character a tonne easier to pose. As a consequence this adventure might end up looking a fair bit like warrens of oric the awesome which I don't mind since I think that adventure looks rad as heck.

A time of great change - and opportunity. Both were successfuly re- and utilized by a certain individual. Holding onto a plane-ticket - bought by juggling multiple jobs - and but a single, big backpack, this individual is entering a plane bound for a certain destination!


Yeah, I guess we all can piece that one together - It is more about the feeling of these times - and people - than any historic connection or parallel that I wanted to portray. Anyways, just an idea that popped into my head somehow.

I've been thinking about it all day and I just don't want to do an adventure with Lincoln as a main character. So sorry if you had your heart set on it but I think i'm going to go with:

Before Lincoln got that landslide vote I was thinking about how I'd do this and I found some ways to mesh a lot of ideas I liked together to make a steampunky setting and I just think I'll have more fun running an adventure about that.
