Once, I ran a game, which was about a secret organization which developed formulae which gave people powers that were super and random. It didn't work--running a day at a time for half a dozen scientists was a lot of work! I promised that I would reboot it as a suggestion game, so here it is!



You hit the jackpot. Some group in Ely was starting to make formulas that would turn people into superheroes or monsters. You were lucky enough to get some of their computers and equipment in an auction. The computers were wiped clean, but hastily; you managed to recover some of their files, including a list of all the ingredients they knew produced superpowers! Sadly, a lot of their formulae and such have been lost...but you also managed to pick up some of their stocks!

You live in a little house right outside McGill, a puny town of just over a thousand souls and a square mile. No supers, yet. The attic is full of those lovely machines that make formulas and prepare ingredients, the basement is empty, and the stuff in between is where you live.

You have a few possible paths to travel down. You could try mixing some new formulas, work on getting more money, try unscrambling some more files, or just kidnap people and use what you have on them.

Kidnap some one and try injecting Biofluid then I-2.
keep them locked up in the basement and see what happens.

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

Mix some Glitterlance A and Red Drake and then attempt to unscramble some files.

((I don't think heating something that is right above us to a ridiculous degree is very smart. Worst case scenario we become +metal statues+. This is a finely crafted metal statue. It is encrusted with sharkmist and HMRC. On the item is an image of HMRC and Pancaek. Pancaek is laughing. The HMRC is melting. The artwork relates to the encasing of the HMRC in metal by Pancaek during the Mission of Many People.))

I assumed that was Rat "essence" unless that means rats thrown into blender :P

Correct.
It's a bit more technical than blending rats, mind you.

How do you intend to kidnap them, and who?

Alright, I need to add a note to the OP (that was in the OP of the original thread but didn't get copied).

Those organisms--Rat, Serpent, Rose, etc--are just "extracts" from them, like a carefully-measured mixture of bodily fluids and pureed flesh.

Besides, the formulae probably have different effects on rats than they do on humans, since the function of the formulae is so intricate. Besides, do you really want to create superpowered rats?

Well then. If we don't have any rats, go buy some. Or guinea pigs like Antur said.

Besides, do you really want to create superpowered rats?
