You go to the one door you have had difficulty...opening...
Well, then.

Speak the magical words - "Open, Sesame!"
Bask in the glory of your newfound magical might.

Use the keycard instead.
Only if we are out of mana, or want to keep our magical identity a secret for now...

You say "Open, Sesame!" to the door off of a fleeting fragment of a memory that quickly leaves you.  You struggle to remember what was in the fleeting, but clear memory, only recalling a desert and something about thieves.  As you are thinking this over, nothing happens, so you slide the keycard in and then pull it out.  The door unlocks and slides to the side with little sound.  You enter and see a similar terminal on the other side as the door slides closed.  You turn back around and see that the room is, apparently, as labeled, unlike the prior rooms.

Examine / touch the colored wall-slabs
Re-examine the pedestal afterwards.

I've been lurking the thread, but only for the visuals. If you stripped out the gimmick (first person pictures), it wouldn't be that interesting to read.
Given many GMs' preference for text-based games, illustration almost counts as a gimmick.

Examine the pedestal.

Press all six of the pedestal's buttons at once.

You wander around the room, first going to the pedestal.  It's circular sloping is cool to the touch, with a slot for a keycard to be placed upon the top.  You attempt to press down upon what you thought were buttons, only to find them not moving, feeling slick.  You see a shift inside one of them, and tap the glass.  Behind it is some form of a liquid, with the one panel that you tapped having a small pocket of air inside.  You then begin to wander down the row to examine the slabs.  You feel some sort of tingling sensation as you pass by each of them, and when you attempt to touch one, your hand is forced back, sparks jumping from the 'slabs' to your hand occasionally.  You then return to the door of the room and examine the pedestal.  The structure has no discernible features that would indicate an access panel upon it.  The only thing having any form of a change being the top with its keycard slot and glass panels.

You cautiously insert the yellow keycard, before diving for cover around the corner from the shields.  You hear the sputtering of electricity for a few seconds, before it goes away.  You wait a few seconds, and when nothing happens during that time, you check down the shielded hallway, and see that the yellow barrier had gone down.  You move to retrieve your cardkey, taking note of one of the liquids having lit up yellow, but when you remove the card, a jolt of energy surges, and the shield returns, the light going off.  After a few times of testing this, you come to the conclusion that each of these doors opens to a cardkey of its color, with the glass lighting up the appropriate color.  You also realize that you have to leave your card behind if you want to progress through any of the openings.

Head through the opening. Hope no one swipes the card.

Wonder who designed this thing.
