Happy Thanksgiving!
« on: November 28, 2013, 11:44:59 am »

I wish Tarn and Zach, all the american DF players, all non-american DF players who are in America today for some reason, and anyone else who is celebrating this holiday for any reason, a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Everyone playing DF today must make a turkey feast if possible in their fort.

I like turkey and all but I'm a klutz and these burns on my left hand are kind of painful.

May thy potatoes be buttery and thy turkey delicious.

In my case, the potatoes are french fries and the turkey is a chicken sandwich. Yay, truck stop Thanksgiving :P

I can never get used to Americans having Thanksgiving so late in the year.  Happy Gluttony Day from Canada to our neighbours, though!

I make Velveeta Macaroni and Cheese with chopped Kielbasa for lunch.

I'll be making tacos for dinner.

As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

I enjoyed wonderful mashed 'taters and rolls. My family's turkey was pretty terrible, though.

Went to Austin's Kerbey Lane Cafe for my turkey dinner. Really good stuff; though they only make it on turkey day. Their turkey day special consists of a soft warm roll, cooked and buttered broccoli, mashed potatoes with gravy, turkey with gravy, cranberry sauce (which is actually good, I was surprised to discover), stuffing, and squash. They also have pumpkin pie you can get for dessert, though I went with one of their usual ones, Vegan Peanut Butter Espresso Cake. Sooo good.

Because, really, if there's one thing I've learned, it's that I shouldn't ever try to cook.

Us cool kids in Canada had Thanksgiving a while ago.

Edit: Whoops, revived holiday topic.
