Kari wanders around the little cave complex trying to find something to do apart from practice with her weapons. She talks to many people, usually asking the same question of them.

"Anyone need any help with anything?"

'I wonder if i should go and talk to that toy soldier a bit more..... or at least, carry him around with me....' She thinks to herself. She cant help but think she has been missing something about that little thing.

[WillowLuman]

"I and everyone else here have seen these horses and we have two elves who may be willing to join me, so will you please direct me to the nearest elven forest retreat."

"I would not know, really. I think there are Elfi living a week's journey West. A dozen and a half leagues maybe, but there are mountains. They come to trade at our village sometimes, but not often."

[ICBM pilot]

"Find somebody who knows the area better than you do and convince him to join me, and I would like you to come with me to translate."
((how much does the wagon weigh?))

[WillowLuman]

"I know this area better than anyone, except Cish maybe. I have just never been past the mountains to the West. Only to their hills. Is not safe to go so far from village."

[ICBM pilot]

"Why isn't it safe?"

[Baffler]

"Oh, Kari. I guess I could use some help hauling rocks. ICBM Pilot wanted stone slabs for some reason, and it got me thinking they'd be good to have. I find the stone from the deeper passages is softer than the stuff up here, but it's a bit of a walk. By the way, are you okay? You look like you've got something on your mind."

[WillowLuman]

"Why isn't it safe?"

"Is just too far. Go so far, may not be back. Too far maybe for rescue if gone too long. Is dangerous out there, worse at night. If I go far, I go with Cish, there are eh... how you say?... monsters that come out when you are not with people at night and in woods. But we go not so often ever more than day's journey from town."

[ICBM pilot]

"Bring who ever you want, the more people we have the less likely we are to be slowly tortured and killed by bandits."

[Baffler]

Hearing this, Baffler calls out: "That doesn't inspire too much confidence!"

[ICBM pilot]

"But it does give him a reason to bring the best equipment he has and bring as many people as he can!"

[WillowLuman]

"Why should I go with you? You are my friend, but is crazy idea."

[ICBM pilot]

"If we succeed we will have enough feather wood to build a flying machine and enough sunshine to buy all the gold we can eat!"

[WillowLuman]

Cish just stared at him.

[ICBM pilot]

((I didn't think Erils was in the cave yet.))

[Necrisha]

"whelp, I'm going to head out then. I'll aim to be back before sunset."

Necrisha heads back out to the main area by the cart. looking about the clearing she lets her intuition choose her searching direction, preferring to head toward somewhat grassy areas with with somewhat sandy soil and trees mixed between coniferous and deciduous types. She was most familiar with strawberries and would start in a direction that was likely to have the best conditions for them. She would curve around 2 to 5 kilometres out and around the cave site, careful to make sure she did not stray to far away. She knew she had no problem walking up to 20 kilometres a day in good shoes. Barefoot was a lot different.
