Baffler shook himself awake, rising much later than he'd meant to. Groggily, he got dressed and hurried out the door. The newcomer would need furniture for his (her? They hadn't met yet) room. He was no dwarf, it would take most of the day for him to get all of it made. As he stepped out, he caught a glimpse of someone walking down the hall carrying something big, probably Erils, he was out hunting wasn't he? "Good morning, Erils! Nice on the..." he trailed off, as Erils walked out of sight. Guess he's got other things on his mind.

Shrugging, Baffler set out down the hallway to the workshops.

Kari, glad that she now has no chores to do for the moment, goes back to her room to tend to her bow and sword, whilst also conversing with the soldier.

Setting the toy soldier down on the desk in her room, she grabs her sword and starts polishing it.

"So, do you have a name? Is there anything else i need to know about you?"

Erils walked into his room, closed the door, and sat down on the bed. Taking out the boar tusk, he looked at it with a sense of slight wonder.

Erils began muttering to himself.
"Come on Erils, you don't need to take souvineers from the animals you kill. You just need the food, nothing else."

Looking back at the tusk, Erils sighed and then continued muttering."
"Well, I might as well make some use out of this thing. Maybe an arrowhead. That wwould be ironic, shooting a boar with a boar tusk. Maybe it will work better than the rock arrowheads. I wonder if Ivory is good at penetrating flesh?"

Erils took out his knife and began carving an arrowhead out of the boar tusk. He tried to make it as smooth and sharp as possible, even though he wasn't that skilled at carving.

..He goes to the butchery that they had made last year and begins to butcher the boar.
(Just a reminder: you haven't been here a year. Yet.)

The tin soldier seemed to chuckle. "A name? Ah, dangerous things, names. I think the two of us best not be concerned with those. You'd hardly need one to identify me, at any rate. I can see you'd like more to go on, though, so I'll give you a little advance payment, as it were, in information. You and your friends are in a rather perilous situation, I'm afraid. There are very large and malicious processes underway in this world, and you had best be on the lookout in times ahead."

Kari stops cleaning her blade.

"You know who did this to us, dont you? Who are they? Where are they? Are you working for them? What type of processes are they working on?

You say this has happened before, and one thing is nagging at me. What happened to the previous people this happened to? How many TIMES has it happened before?

All i have are questions, and you aren't being all that forthcoming with answers. Now, you asked for my help finding a key. I am willing to help you but i need answers. Now, please."

"Oh, my dear, it is as I've said. Some names are rather dangerous to say at this point. Believe me, you are not ready to hear them. But perhaps I can tell you more about myself, if it would make you feel more comfortable. You might say I'm a time capsule, a thing to safeguard and hide away something valuable until it is safe to bring it out again. I was made to be overlooked and forgotten, to keep secrets. It is my nature. You might do well to leave me on this desk. People would notice me once but not think twice of it. Even certain unfriendly eyes will not see me, as long as you do not draw attention."

Although clearly annoyed at the avoidance of her questions yet again, Kari contents herself with cleaning her sword.

After she has polished it, she walks to the workshops to see if she can help with anything.

As she heads out of her rooms doorway, she says to the toy. "Stay here. I'll be back in a bit."

On her way around looking for things to do, Kari stumbles upon the new arrival.

"Oh Hi! And who might you be?" She asks, giving the newcomer a once over. Taking in the strange look and the too big clothes, Kari starts to become confused.

"Sorry if this may be an inappropriate question, but are you a human, an Elf or a Dwarf?"

Baffler, hearing this through the masonry shop's open door, steps out.

"Oh hey, I saw you coming in last night. I'm Baffler the mason, and broker when the need arises."

Necrisha first chooses to glare at ICBM pilot,
"eww, and no can do."

"Sorry if this may be an inappropriate question, but are you a human, an Elf or a Dwarf?"

Turning toward the elf, she smirks,
"I'm Polish. Does that answer your question? Well I guess I'm a hauler or gatherer unless someone's picked up pottery or somewhat. Actually I'm decent with a fish pole too. Shame my slippers didn't make the transition."

Baffler, hearing this through the masonry shop's open door, steps out.

"Oh hey, I saw you coming in last night. I'm Baffler the mason, and broker when the need arises."

"Oh, hi? I guess I really look funny in these pajamas eh?"

Necrisha gets up and tries to ignore how odd she must look with a big old blanket sort of draped over her shoulders.

"I guess there's a place to acclimatize maybe?"

Erils finished carving the boar tusk into an arrowhead and used it to replace one of the stone arrowheads on the arrows he already had. Hearing the commotion outside, Erils opened his door and poked his head out to see what was going on.
