[Zanzetkuken The Great]

Zanzetkuken chuckled after Kari left.  That was far more entertaining than it should have been.  But I do not care.  He walked over to the place Kari had been standing, and picked up the lantern.  Behavior after I found her was mildly suspicious, though.  Probably found something in here.  Going to need to keep an eye on her, but she can keep her secret.  For as long as it doesn't threaten anything.

Zanzetkuken searched for a few seconds, and found no mechanisms.  She forgot the mechanisms.  Came here quickly.  That's odd.  Might want to pay even more attention.  I swear, if there is a telekinetic component like one of those SCPs I read about...considering the universe, that might not be too odd.

He proceeded to walk back to his room, making a note to repair that wall.  Could move it back further, then build a backway to the stocks.

Upon seeing that he didn't miss any mechanisms in his room, he opened the door, then walked over to Kari, who was further down the hallway and facing the other direction, and said, "You forgot the mechanisms."

"Any idea if the kobold still has it? Or, for that matter, where the Kobold is? I am quite proficient with the bow and sword, you know, after these months of training and hunting....."

"Oh, I never saw that kobold again. And I don't know how long it's been, I'm afraid. Can't have been eons, this world isn't that old. Could have been decades, centuries. Oh, and your friend is about to step around that corner and ask you something."

Kari turns to receive the person the toy soldier sensed.

"Do you have a name i could call you? and how do you know someone is about to come around the corner?"

"For one thing, I'm already standing here."

((Damn...forgot to add in my post that was supposed to be whispered, but anyway))

"YEEP!" Kari lets out a squeak as she is still taken by surprise the Zan. "Hi Zan! Something wrong?"

"Two things.  You forgot the mechanisms, and depending on how it is viewed, you have a living robot in your hands."

"No i dont! Whatever gave you that idea? Sorry i forgot the mechanisms though, i'll just go get them. How many was it again?" Kari turns, about to leave.

"Considering how you were speaking in the direction of the tin soldier in your hands, it's either that, or you have a mental disorder, and you know how people react to the latter."

"I'm not crazy! At least, i dont think i am.... Erm...." Kari fumbles. Whispering under her breath, she begs the toy soldier for help. "What do i do?! What do i do!? Can i tell him about you? How can i tell him about you without looking insane?"

Whispering under her breath, she begs the toy soldier for help. "What do i do?! What do i do!?"

"Muttering to yourself after saying 'you're not crazy' doesn't really help your case."  Noticing her discomfort, he continued with "Look, as long as you don't make too much trouble, I'll look the other way.  Just get me those mechanisms."  With that, Zanzetkuken returned towards his room.

"Call it two dozen, for now."

"Don't worry. By tomorrow, he won't remember it. I've made sure of that. But be more careful in the future, there is a limit to what I can do for myself. And don't worry, I can't mess with your memory. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to hear me."

Kari hurries off to the stockpile and puts two dozen mechanisms into two sacks. Stuffing the toy soldier into the space between her breasts, Kari then takes one sack in each hand and carries them back to Zan's room. She knocks and waits for Zan to open the door.
