Kari looks out of the cave and frowns. She dislikes the rain unless it is a nice warm summers day.

There isn't much to do inside, she sees, that she is suitable for. Kari decides to train with a spear with Baffler after getting a fire going (if there isn't already one). Might as well get good with a spear and get warm. Never know when you might need to fight.

"At least this cant get any worse. Nothing is gonna be moving about in that."

The call came again: "Jasro! Jasro! Abo tikes Jasro!"

Out of the rain, a man came running towards the cave, arms raised against the downpour. He was long-haired and bearded, dressed in what looked like hide clothes, with a big wool coat. Upon his side was a satchel, and strapped to his back was an axe with a bundle of chopped wood tied around it. Reaching the entrance, he leaned in and began speaking frantically. "Vanado sudem ab! Abo koto abi oled, kulur ig-bedo! Alu Gulgud-ab! Sudem, Jasro!"

[Erils]

Erils holds rubs his hands and self trying to warm himself despite the fact that the rain soaked his clothes. Erils hear's the man running toward the cave.

"Who's that?"

Unsure of what to do, Erils grabs his bow and takes out an arrow, just in case.

The man, seeing someone with a notched arrow, throws his hands up.

"Who the hell are you?" Kari asks. That guy running out of nowhere scared the crap out of her.

The man apparently did not understand. "Sudem... Ura-ad... Abo tikes Jasro..." Still with his hands raised, he looked pleadingly into all their faces.

"Does anyone know what he is saying? It seems like he wants our help, but i want to be sure....."

[Baffler]

"It doesn't sound familiar to me, but all I can say is it isn't dwarven. This guy doesn't seem like a threat though. He was probably just looking for shelter from the rain."

Baffler lowers his spear, and extends a hand to the man.

"I'll volunteer for chief medical human because I know how to make some poisons and I have some experience with butchering

The man apparently did not understand. "Sudem... Ura-ad... Abo tikes Jasro..." Still with his hands raised, he looked pleadingly into all their faces.

"I don't feel comfortable with you being a doctor. Or a nurse. Or anywhere near the medical areas, really."

The man sees the weapons lowering, and gratefully hurries inside, holding his hands over the fire. He was soaking wet, and quite pale, but as he sat, some color returned to his face. Then, exclaiming suddenly, he reached into his satchel and pulled out a large reddish-brown slab.

With a knife from his pocket, he began carving off strips of it, chewing on one and offering the other strips to the group.
