(Yeah...)

"Well if we have this stuff, might as well use it. I'll take a spear, those don't take a genius to use properly. Anyone else want to work at this once I'm done with the butcher's shop?"

*Baffler puts the hatchet back in the wagon, and takes a wooden spear. He carefully pokes the tip to test the edge. It isn't very sharp, but should do nicely against an animal, or something with no armor. He leans it against the wall next to him and gets back to work.*

Erils stops crying, his face now covered with the blood from his hands, and looks back to the boar corpse. Erils picks his bow back up and wipes the blood off of the arrow onto the surrounding grass.

"Well, I shouldn't waste good food"

Erils picks up the boar corpse by the legs and begins hauling it back to the wagon where everyone else is.

"It will probably taste good though. I shouldn't be so sad about this, I'm just trying to survive. I hope its edible though. I wonder if that Butchery is finished yet..."

[Posting from phone, so I cannot quote.]

[Erils: Nice description.  Only thing I need to correct you for is that the bow is copper, rather than wooden.

(I dont know why everyone is moaning about it. I could have done A LOT worse whilst still staying in the forum rules.

As it happens, all i did was dance, sing and cuddle a tree. Some real life humans do that.

And at least we got some tradable stuff out of this.)

"If anyone doesnt mind, i'll take a pair of boots, the bracers and the female leaf clothing, especially the trousers."

((It wasn't THAT intimate! Only singing, dancing, whispering, the odd massage and cuddling! There was only one kiss and nothing more intimate than that!

It could have been a lot worse!

Some people in real life have actually DONE much worse!))

((We need everyone to post before we can time skip.

I was thinking about that actually.

If some people have not posted, and it is holding up the game, just have them continue doing what they were last doing and, if it is completed, go on to doing something similar or just generall helping around the camp/fort/fortress/settlement.

Of course, that is after they have had alert messages sent to them.))

RadtheCad sighed and shook his head.  'Give me parrallel-universe voidish nightmares anyday, just keep those elves away from me...'
Suddenly, he noticed Erills dragging a wild boar, off in the distance.

Hey!  Erills!  You can use my knife to skin and gut that pig!
...Once we have a finished Butcher's shop..."

Rad then realised he'd been slacking off again, earning him several glares from his compatriots.
"Okay!  Okay!  I'll get back to work!  Let's get this thing done..."

"I at least thought i did well" Kari mutters unhappily, now dressed in her new undergarments and truosers under her dress.

She decides that the best thing for her to do at this moment is aid in construction.

"Oh, er, sure you did, Kari!  And thanks for the help.  It seems like we've been working on this Butcher's shop for weeks..."

"I don't fault your results. Lets just move on. We're almost done here, and we shouldn't let that boar sit too long."

Erils returns to the others, his face and hands covered in blood. He puts the boar down by the Butchery currently under construction.

"I don't know how to skin or gut an animal, anyone else want to do it? Also, do we have any salt or way to make a fire? We need to make sure we can preserve this thing, probably by smoking it, after we cut and cook it."

Erils glances around for any dry wood nearby.

"Try the wagon. And I can take care of the butchering, I used to hunt deer, though I only ever seen this part done. Gonna need the butcher's shop done first though."

"Alright then"

Erils puts the Boar corpse up on the wagon so it is away from the vermin on the ground and covers it with Kari's old clothes (she said she changed into new ones) to prevent insects from getting to it.
Erils heads down to the river to wash his hands to get the blood off, but gets lost in thought before he washes his face. After a short pause, Erils remembers that he still has work to do and heads back up, his face still partially covered in dried boar blood, to help construct the Butchery.

"Here, let me help with that."
