(True, but it would differ depending on your personality. Some people would react with: "Woohoo! Booze time!", while some (like me) don't really care too much for alcohol, and so wouldn't be affected much.

Dwarves are somewhat dependant on alcohol, but perhaps only in the way some people are dependant upon coffee. They can go without it but might wind up in a bad mood. For someone getting dwarfed, it would probably depend on their normal relation to alcohol.)

*Baffler looks up from his work for a moment.*

"I traveled a good distance around the area and didn't really find anything interesting. If there is anything, it's either really far off, or... somewhere to the south, I guess. It might be better to stay though, so new people aren't left high and dry."

"GUYS! WE'VE FINALLY FOUND A MARKET FOR ALL OUR FANTASY HEMP!"

(How many times do I have to say this.  I never said anything aloud about the possibility of pig tails being hemp.  Stop talking about it IC like I actually said it aloud!)

If we have 2 picks, Rad will help mining.

(Does anyone actually pay attention to my posts?  If you want the other pick, come talk to me.  I'm probably not giving it up, because I have an adequate skill in it, which would take anyone else 14 pieces of stone mined (52.5 hours of work) to achieve.)

TIME LEAP

(NO!  Only half the people posted an action.  I stated in the OP rules, no time skips unless everyone has an action.

Those who posted an action:
ICBM (collecting rat weed)
Baffler (butchers)
Cado (butchers)
Rad (butchers
Lemonpie (skeleton searching) (I'd honestly only put this as a maybe.)
GreatWyrmGold (mining)
Kirby (butchers)

Please leave timeskips in the hands of me, or Hugo.  We check back to make sure.

Because of the fact that only half had posted an action, I'm rolling back time to the morning.)

"No, if we were on a trade route there would be a road or at least a clear path."

(Not going to complain about the continuation, since this could easily happen at the morning.)

"Well, a dirt trade route could easily be mistaken since it could be overgrown, or it could be unmarked.  Since wagons somehow automatically know where a fortress is, there could have been one created, or we could even be along one that is not used frequently."

"I think that the dwarves might have to have their fortress location approved so that would explain why traders can find fortresses so easily and that would also mean that there probably won't be traders any time soon."

((1. Alright, do you have some way we can all figure out who has an action without locating the last timeskip and trawling through it?
2. What's the plan for when people don't post actions? How long do we wait? What do we do?))

(1) Excel worksheet with a mark next to players who have posted one, though I am more likely to be trudging just so I can remind myself of the various subplot bunnies running around.
2) Pm them.  1 week, 2 if there is a response that they are busy.  Create plot bunnies for subplots to help develop characters.  Ex. Such as how Rad currently has Bob and his insight into other universes to explore.)

((1. I meant for us to do so. Unless you use Google Docs and share it, I don't see the spreadsheet helping us figure that out.
2. What do you mean, 'plot bunnies'?))

(1) Going to set one up.
2) Examples from thread 2: Gizogin X, Gizogin's half-demon sister who somehow was in the game, Joykill's necromancy, Corai's shenanigans, the Thari incident, Thari's apprentice, Ollioli, Clockwork Hugo, Hugo's adjusting after transformation into a dragon, Joykill's gauntlets, Oreosome's character's background, 'Archie'.)

(AKA: subplots, loose ends, plot threads. Leaving them unattended can lead to sloppy writing, or contradictions if they are forgotten. Sometimes left to linger so they can return with more potency. Just a little writing term. GMs try to keep track of them, to keep the story going in the right direction and to avoid stepping on the toes of the other writers in the story, which would be you, the players.)

((1. Oh. That should make things easier. Hey, if you made it publically-editable, we could add our own actions!
2. I see. Now I just need to think of something...))
