(I wondered that too. I was going to go hunting if we ran short.)

"How did you come in as an elf? I would've been a dwarf if I could! Wait, does this mean you won't eat the meat we have?"

"I can help you build that thing, if you want. Or I can help with the hunting? Put me to work! I'm all yours. I dont have many skills that would help in this situation apart from my athletics and archery. My swordsmanship is rusty, unfortunately. Been a while since i picked up a sword."

"It doesnt seem like I am forced to act the way Elves do in game. That meaty smell is actually making me feel hungry. The only question i'd want answered is: Can my current body digest that meat?"

Karis stomach growls.

"Hmm. I can wait, its not like i am going to starve, and i can always eat some grass or something later on, i suppose".

[Baffler]

"Actually, herbalism might be a good way to get us started off. DF doesn't try to trick us, there's only a few aboveground plants and none of them are poisonous, at least not to humans."

"Even deer and such eat carrion from time to time. Meat is easy to digest."

"Don't Elves engage in cannibalism?  Wouldn't their bodies instinctively reject meat if it was inedible for them, the same way leaves don't taste nice to us...?" 

"Oh, and for the record, we have enough food for 2-4 weeks."

[Baffler]

"Okay, so what's left to do?"

[RangerCado]

"We can finally finish this butchery and butcher the bears so I can get to work on the Carpentry workshop so I can make us some beds!" Cado is getting annoyed with his helpers constantly leaving him...

"Once i've finished helping Rad with the Butchery, i'll help you build the carpentry workshop, Cado."

[RangerCado]

"...I'M THE ONE WHO STARTED BUILDING THE BUTCHERY!" Mutter for the next 4 hours while building...

(I thought we timeskipped to the butchery's completion?)

"Okay, I'll just get started on the carpentry shop, since nobody seems to be doing that."

Baffler begins the construction of a carpenter's workshop just outside the cave entrance.

[Erils]

"I can help hunt too if someone has a bow. I'm a pretty good shot. But don't expect me to massacre every single creature I see."

"Can elves digest meat though? I guess we're going to have to find out."

stomach rumbles

"Speaking of that, does anyone have some meat? I might as well try some to find out."

"Rad cut off a little bit of somebody and give it to the elf"
move the rust to the cave, surround it with rocks and use dirt to fill the holes

"...no."

((I thought the elf's arrival interrupted it.  Anyway, I'll say we move on 4 hours, okay?  Just object if you're against it.))

TIME LEAP

The group worked away for a few hours.  Finally, however, the Butcher's shop was finished, with the carpentry shop and ICBM's construction underway.

((Just fill in the gaps if I missed any jobs in progress.  How long will that carpentry shop take?  You've been working on it for 4 hours now.))
