"didn't the trolls go to another planet before the started getting hit by meteors? As soon as another person joins we will have 12 players and we kind of are as desensitized as trolls.

"I don't think anyone else will join.  I mean, we haven't had anyone yet, everyone who's here showed up at the same time.  We just woke up at different times."

I put on the pack and go back to helping out on the butcher's shop.

The leather pack didn't contain much, mostly a bunch of soily gunk that might once have been food. Burried amidst this, though, RadtheCad found a small steel knife in surprisingly good condition. Not much of a weapon, but it could be useful. Wasn't someone trying to whittle back at the cave? Further inspection revealed a gold coin, too. It was little more than a smooth disc of metal, but there was some kind of face etched onto one side. Not finding anything else, he decided to take the whole thing, as well as a femur, and get back to work. The leather was a bit stiff, but the pack still seemed to hold together.

ICBMpilot tried to remove the corpse's armor, but the found the whole thing had rusted together into one solid mass. He tried to slip it up off the top of the skeleton, removing the arms to make way, but as he hoisted it, it all crumbled into a pile of reddish pieces and dust.

I whistle happily, looking at my new knife.  Now here's something that could be pretty useful.  Anyone need any knife-related work done?  Just come to good 'ol Rad.

(Shanking someone costs extra.  Just sayin'.  :P)

"Nice find, Rad. Say, this guy probably didn't fill himself with arrows. There could be kobolds, or even goblins around here somewhere. Maybe we should find some way to block off the cave entrance. And if nobody objects, I think I'll be carrying around one of these axes until I can get a crossbow."

(What workshops do we have? Is is just the butcher?)

By the way, anyone opposed to a few more hours of timeskip?))

"Huh....what, where am I?" Kari wonders.

Getting up, barefooted and wearing only a leaf and flower dress... "What is this? i dont own a dress like this...What on earth?" She says running a hand through her hair absentmindedly, which now feels alow longer and thicker. She feels her ears as she goes.

"Pointed ears...... Hang on, this looks like Dwarf Fortress! Am I....am i an elf?"

Looking around, Kari spots a cave not too far away. There seems to be people walking around. She starts jogging towards them, waving her arms and trying to get their attention.

"Hey! Do any of you guys know where this place is?!"

I look around, once more distracted from my vital work on the butcher's shop.

"an... an elf?!  GUYS! WE'VE FINALLY FOUND A MARKET FOR ALL OUR FANTASY HEMP!"

"...Oh, you're a player, aren't you?  Right.  I guess more can be ported in after all.  Anyway, we're in Dwarf Fortress, you're going to make our food run out even quicker, please try and do something productive if you don't want us all to starve.  Oh, and welcome, by the way."

((How shall we regulate food consumption?  We just lose a unit of food every week?  How many units will these bears give us, anyway?))
