Bob Smith woke up in a field of slime, the resident eyeball plants staring at him inquisitively.  He noticed a lone figure sitting nearby.  Approaching him, Bob asked what was going on.  The Figure just muttered something about 'fucking casual noobs' and gestured towards a pile of horribly mutilated corpses, and then towards the general environment.  Bob noted a strange-looking cloud of mist cllosing in quickly.

((Is anyone else doing anything?  How long should we wait before fast forwarding until, say, the butchery is done?  Also, I might continue the tale of Unfortunate Bob if people don't hate it too much/OP's ok with it.  Just mark it down to me being mentally disturbed by a bug in the game.
Also, how will it be decided when stuff comes at us?  When will more animals move in, and things generally change?  Obviously, we can't really deal with very much right now without DF FYSICS, but still- how is it decided when stuff arrives to up the challenge?  Who decides when it rains?  OP?))
