(Let's just say you got about as much fanfare as any other embark upon arrival)
Any other embark that requires dragging the embarkers across dimensions?
Also, that's a sucky comparison, since that "fanfare" would be at minimum records of an embark and traces of a trail across the world, which doesn't translate well into much of anything logical here,

(Well, I guess something will happen sooner or later, or we wouldn't have much of a thread would we?)

(Word from ZTG was we're waiting for more actions, but honestly I think it may be time to move soon. Let's wait for his word, though.)

((Also, a link in the OP to the actions page may be in order. It's getting kind of annoying having to trawl through the general area of page 25 to find it, or opening up my gmail.))

(Whats happened? Dont let this die, people!!)

(Calm down, it's been finals week at my school, and I wasn't able to get on a computer.)

(It's in the second post, what more do you want?)

(I'm going to start linking the time skips in that post as well.  I think some people are unaware that there has been one.  Also going to add a [Morning, Day _] in the title as well.)

((Hey, Zan, aren't Christians supposed to not go to Hell?))

(Various denominations of the christian church have differing opinions on how you are judged works, and there is not room to describe the sheer multiplicity of ideas in a single post to do them justice.)

(Word from ZTG was we're waiting for more actions, but honestly I think it may be time to move soon. Let's wait for his word, though.)

(I've placed some tentative actions based upon previous ideas in the sheet.  They have a purple background, meaning they are seeking approval by the player.)

((What would you say the "average" or at least commonest belief is? As a former Christian myself, I'm pretty sure that the one I said is such. And that that's what's in the Bible.

I'm also pretty sure that this isn't much like any Christian's idea of what Hell is.))

(The core is once you are baptized you have the potential to go to heaven (varying from flat out 'you are guaranteed to go' to 'you must complete other requirements') after which purposely breaking the ten commandments results in not being granted admittance (varies from 'you are going to hell' to 'you must seek forgiveness').  Past that point, it's a shotgun spread of various interpretations.  Considering how likely this topic has the ability to run out of hand, it may be best to only perform a surface glance.)

(Most ideas are based off of Dante's Divine Comedy (interestingly enough, the lowest layer of hell is ice in that work), but I have seen a couple other ideas, from the stereotypical 'world of fire' to pure darkness.  Considering the size of the variance that can encompass, DF's should be able to fit on that scale.)

((DF in real life seems like psychological torture.))
The core is once you are baptized you have the potential to go to heaven
That is the core Catholic belief not the core Christen belief, the core Christen belief is worship Jesus and you have the potential to go to heaven and know the difference between a statue of Jesus and a Statue of the burger king.

ninja'd 2x
(Glance over wikipedia to satisfy your curiosity, perhaps looking at its sources to find books and articles on the subject. But OOC discussion of this sort has the potential to lead to... bad things.)

(In character discussion of your beliefs could provide for some interesting writing, for example an agnostic/atheist dealing with being dropped into a DF world with several pantheons. Or even a person with religion dealing with all these other deities. But we may have to reach a point in the story where it becomes possible for us to contemplate our navels, as it were.)

((As an atheist, I don't think I'd have any problem with DF gods. If I actually met some clerics, I might ask for a copy of their holy book and start debating theology with them...actually, that sounds like a good way to get smote.))
