"You...you dont think it could be a Forgotten Beast?" Kari stammers uncertainly.

"Forgotten beasts only live underground! Above ground, they're called titans."

"...And titans only invade when you're at a certain point of fortress development. Usually," he added lamely.

The thunder came again, still sounding a long way off. The wind was getting annoyingly cold, though.

"We may have to take shelter in the cave...." Kari said, trying tog et out of the wind by taking shelter behind a half built carpentry workshop wall.

"Church trip? Never took you for being religious. Then again, it's not a common subject."

"I'm not in the opinion of being in a person's face about it."  Hearing the gusts of wind, Zanzetkuken says, "Storm's still a few hours out.  We really won't have to worry about it for awhile.  Though getting some of the stuff deeper inside would be a good idea."

"Forgotten beasts only live underground! Above ground, they're called titans."

"...And titans only invade when you're at a certain point of fortress development. Usually," he added lamely.

(Don't forget that not everyone is close enough you can hear their conversations.  Since the carpenter's workshop is right outside the cave, you might have been able to hear this, but keep in mind.)

((I am going on vacation so I won't be albe to post much until I get the Internet stuff set up))

(Just give a rough idea in the 'actions' of what you intend to do.)

RadtheCad continues butchering his bears 'n boars.  Best get this done quickly- do as much as possible before that storm gets here.  Dibs on some bearskin for a cloak.

(If ICBM helps you, with his skill level, you might be able to finish the task.)

Kari uneasily continues working on the carpentry shop whilst keeping an eye on the weather.

"I can get behind that. I've gotta ask, though...as a religious man, what do you think of the gods that presumably exist in this world?"

(That wasn't what I was talking about.  I was talking about how you were already in a conversation with my character inside the cave, and the others were at the carpenter's workshop outside the cave.  Since your character was on the upper level, and the carpenter's workshop was near the entrance, you might have heard it, but keep relative location of where your character is in relation to the conversations when you are going to have your character respond.)

(I'm assuming that these turns aren't composed of 15 minutes of straight conversation followed by 3.75 hours of silence. Instead, I work under the assumption that the conversations are occurring at various times scattered amongst the hours-long period of time.)
