"First of all, we are within earshot of each other. Second, why would you ask that? Thirdly, why refer to me as a sub-dwarf?"

"Lead is commonly found in the atmospheres of hot sub-dwarves and I thought that meant elves because of the theory that elves are a sub-species of dwarves. I didn't realize that it meant stars instead of elves until after I said it. Please don't eat me

Kari Sighs.

"I am not going to eat you. I wasn't raised that way and i am no denizen of this world so it is not in my nature _yet".

Kari smiles, trying to be as disarming as possible.

"You know, you can tell the truth. I can tell you were not talking about stars".

Kari studies him with her eyes for a few moments, before shaking her head and getting back to work. 'Something is definitely up with him' She thinks.
She shouts over to Elephant Parade: "Come on! Get to work!"
