((I didn't think Erils was in the cave yet.))
((My bad. Fixed. It was directed at you.))

Cish saw Nechrisa. "Eh! Where are you going?"

"I'm not crazy, in my world we have flying machines that can go five times faster than sound, we have crossbows that shoot 6000 bolts per minute, we have been to the moon, we have weapons capable of destroying a city on the other side of the planet, and we can talk to people anywhere with a small device!"

Baffler calls out again: "We don't exactly have piles of refined aluminum, steel, high grade fuel, and god knows what else goes into those things though. The best we could probably manage are hand cannons that blow your hand off two times out of three."

Even if you found a suitable opening, I doubt it would prove all too satisfying. And it might leave some nasty wounds, depending on the moral high ground's geology.

Baffler likes silver, walnut trees, the color green, tanzanite, and dogs for their loyalty. When possible he prefers to consume beef, iced tea, and cornbread. He absolutely detests ticks.

Kari turns to Baffler.

"Oh me? I'm fine, really. Just, to be honest, still not over the whole you-are-now-an-elf-and-in-another-world thing yet."

She moves to kelp Baffler shift some stones.

After some time, Kari initiates conversation again.

"Why did ICBM Pilot want these stones, anyway? Whats he planning to do?"

"Said he wanted to make a map. Lacking writing utensils and paper, this is the best way to do it."

Hefting a suitable stone, Baffler adds:
"And yeah, it was jarring enough to suddenly be a bit taller and heavier. I can't imagine how different being an elf must be."

(I would expect by this point, we either traded it to the village for supplies, or broke it down for construction.)

(assuming there's nothing more to them than the 3 wood logs they drop, an empty wagon in DF weighs about 15 pounds, which is a bit silly. But it's the weight of what you put into it that makes the difference anyway.)

Also this.

"If you have nothing more important to do I guess." She looks at Cish, "I spend most of my summers as a kid out in the boonies, I know how to avoid getting lost. And bears, coyotes, bobcats, neighbouring farmers bull pastures, underground wasps nests... Hey, what predators are around this area anyways?"

((I'm not going to respond to that if you were directing it to me...))

"Boonies? Rabbits, you do mean? Or... woods, I think you do mean. But these are not the same... eh... boonies you are used to, I think. I have not heard of these bob-cat, but we have around here... eh... bears, wolf, how you say... woods dingo, mountain lion, giant mantis, and lynx."
