Is it not an outrage that the board lacks bespectacled smilies, old sport?

Indeed. It is most saddening.

I think not. It would be most stereotypical and generic.

I do not believe the issue to be of importance.

I say, fellow chap named Loud Whisper, thou are high on opium.
If that is an insult on my honour, I have many suitable vestments to slap you in the face with.
If that is a compliment on my vast trade Empire and its... Resourceful methods of repayments, then you have my thanks.

Hm, well, tea might be all fine and dandy, but sometimes a gent's innards yearn for something stronger - what's the one true dapper alcoholic beverage? I'd say overpriced beer, but there's bound to be some disagreement.
Was Nelson dipped in Brandy or not? You've got your answer there.

I shall now introduce you fine gents to three gentlemen of art and music:

Sir Reginald Pikedevant, Esquire a man of short but exquisite performance list.
Professor Elemental who raps about Earl Grey and wacky adventures around the world and Britain.
Mr.B the Gentleman Rhymer with his famous ukelele.

The latter two had a grudge against each other but of course that was amended with enough Earl Grey and opium on afternoon parties.

By Golly, that is negro music! And all those dressed-up clowns dancing to the ear abuse that goes by the name of "swing" (vile as anything that comes from the New (!) World)... this is not the appropriate music for a true gentleman. Singing like a commoner is not something our kind should concern itself with - it is not without reason that all culturally valuable music is instrumental.

You have no musical taste, my good sir. For shame.

I... I did it. I had to use MSPaint, but I did it.

Oh no. My hat ribbon is the same shade of rouge as my hair and could be mistaken for such.

Now now gentlemen. Although it cannot be gainsaid that the symphonic music of the music halls is, inherently, superior to any sort of popular music that the youths can churn out, I do find myself listening to my phonograph every once in a while. I find simple enjoyment in the works of one Chubby Parker, who seems to be popular amongst the common masses recently.

Chubby Parker
Mh yes, sometimes I too think that abolition has had its good sides - I myself am quite intrigued by the music of a certain M. Davis, myself. All that other 'swing' and such reminds one of watering-holes, dance-halls and other places of similar reputation, but this gentleman has almost a classical touch. No music for the unwashed masses, that's for sure.

I am suddenly reminded why the US forbade it's political class from accepting titles of nobility.

Time for a non-dapper avatar, I believe. I feel this has run it's course.

How could you abandon us like this? Why would you ever remove your hat?

I suppose that many (myself included) will be switching to holiday avatars, but until then, my hat and monocle stay.
