I kinda wish we could have started with the Burst Cannon or Thudder. Burst Cannon seems like a good weapon to kill large hordes(and you can have all Slug weapons then), while Thudder is a good pure damage weapon at mid-range. Not as good as Railgun, I suppose, but deals a different sort-of damage.

There's no 'made to kill X unit' weapons, at least as far as I can see right now. Railgun is simply better than RPG Pod in all ways except where you can mount it and style, for example(discounting someone having slug resistance rather than kinetic, that is).

Also, I would approve of multiple missions simultaneously. :D

I hope we can get MIRVs or the equivalent. I was going for Macross Missile Massacre.

This is a mech game. I'd assume everything has arms unless otherwise specified.

It's not that the tanks have arms, but the weapons are compatible with mech arm or shoulder mounts as well.

Though that raises the question: If it has tracks, is it a tank and not a mech, even if the upper body is more mech-like?

If it has tracks, but has the upper body of a Mech, it can mount Mech equipment, but is presumably as fast and ponderous as a tank. I haven't seen any weapons so far that a tank can mount but a Mech can't. But really, it just appears to be in the weapon slots.

What do the various sizes mean, Giglamesh? Squad, Tiny, Large, etc.? Different bonuses/penalties to hit or what?

Squad is in the name: not a mech at all, but infantry. They have the ability to dig in to increase their doge bonus.
Dodge size is somewhat related to mecha size, but it's also a rough guideline to what weapons they'll be able to have. Tiny mechs will have no or low class shoulder weapons, and typically lower maximum weapons, but are highly mobile and hard to hit.
Medium is a happy balance - decent shoulder weapons and strong arm weapons.
Huge mechs will tend to have huge shoulder weapons and arm weapons, but are very slow and can barely dodge.

It also effects the size of the possible reactor explosion of a dying mech. A huge mech or the sizes above have quite a large radius.

Oh, I forgot to mention that: you pilots can choose to overload your own reactors instead of firing weapons. This will, of course, destroy your mecha, but the explosion is quite powerful. Depending on mecha size, of course.
