So, I blitzed through the whole "Time" comic today. The game makes a lot more sense now. An amazing comic too, everyone should definitely go through the whole thing.

My question relates.. How do you unlock the ladder?

Also, I don't know how to unlock the river.

You need something like 8 flags to unlock the ladder, and 16 waves to unlock the river.

Is selling off excess newpixbots during Judgement Dip a good idea?

They tend to produce more than they destroy at that point [unless you have like.. 80 Dip level, which shouldn't happen unless you're messing about with the time travel with impunity] so just hold onto them and wait for all the JD upgrades. More NPB you have at that point the better, as the JD upgrades boost all of your different tool production by the number of NPBs you have.

Alright, I'm at a point in the game where my progress is slowing, and I have some options that could get me up to speed, but I really don't know which ones to pick.

Ustxu Iceraped the Frigid Crystal of Slaughter was a glacier titan. It was the only one of its kind. A gigantic feathered carp composed of crystal glass. It has five mouths full of treacherous teeth, enormous clear wings, and ferocious blue eyes. Beware its icy breath! Ustxu was associated with oceans, glaciers, boats, and murder.

I found the game to be quite slow and confusing too at first, until after half a day I started reading through all the text boxes on the boosts and badges and a few aspects of the gameplay that had been confusing me became clear and I was better able to make progress.  At the same time I had my month long game of cookie clicker going, and didn't make a single purchase, while I had made at least a dozen or so purchases here, so in that way its odd that the game felt so slow.

I'm also finding it interesting that everytime I find a good combination for earning stuff, the balance shifts and I need to find a new combination.
