You awoke to a rocking world, down in the dark, salty depths of a ship. Your pods went unnoticed for too long, and by the time the humans recognized the threat it was too late. The ship disabled and the communications wrecked. You have a bit of time before any rescuers will have a chance of finding you. In the meantime, you’ll need to remove anyone who might betray your presence when help dies arrive.Imp, you took over the body of a hard old sailor. A woman who’d been through the navy, out to the merchant marines, and been on boats all her life. This makes you a
Tough Doppelganger, one who’s able to shrug off punishment that would take out a lesser creature.
TheDarkStar, you managed to consume the ship’s cook. You’re a normal
Doppelganger, but you do seem to have some sort of natural
Anti-Tech Field that may come in handy.

Leader of the Doppelgangers you’ve managed to master your transformation. You appear completely human, and should be virtually undetectable. You also possess a natural
Mind Shield which will help you against any Psychic foes.
As doppelgangers you possess a natural ability to
communicate telepathically amongst yourselves.

Mind Stealer, an Alien marooned on this planet. You’ve been wandering the world, absorbing minds and hoping to discover some way off this rock. Unfortunately, you’re now on a ship with a bunch of ravenous Doppelgangers. You’ll need to carefully use your abilities to survive this catastrophe.
Each night you may
Abduct another player and steal their mind. You will gain their Role for the following Day and Night, as well as their Win condition until you change it again. The abducted player will return after a day as a vanilla member of their faction.
You will need to carefully balance your abductions if you’re to end up on the winning side of this mess!

You’re one of the crew members on board the ship. You’ve taken it upon yourself to act as an
Observant Guard, watching over the others in case a doppelganger attacks. If they do attack, you’ll be able to warn the victim in time for them to escape as well as inform them of who the attacker is. Your own safety, however, is very much in doubt while performing such a dangerous job.

block another player from performing any actions at night. As a psychic ability this does not require you to leave your cabin.
