BATTLE DEVELOPMENT: Jaromir lost both of his arms in an engagement with the enemy. His heroism in absorbing bullets and lighting things that are probably hostile on fire would have earned him a posthumous medal, except for the fact that he miraculously survived and returned to base. His survival hinged upon the backblast from his flamer cauterizing his wounds, though it also has disfigured him to a degree. He is now a significantly marked Czech, though his 'armlessness has been helped by a pair of prosthetic arms.
