Double 57 seems to be the consensus.

The creature grows a heavy, turtle-like shell that covers most of the creature's thorax and Abdomen, with only the head and and it's mane of tendrils exposed. 

The creature is looking quite sick and pale, almost as bad as before.

No that i think about it, wouldn't the eyes be on the teeth? The teeth do cover a large amount of the body.

The mouth is on the underside, the eyes and tendrils are on it's neck/shoulder area.




NEXT PHASE IT IS!

The creature is now almost fully developed, as large as a limbless horse and actively wiggling about in it's tank. It follows you with it's eyes and when you touch the tank, it taps at your fingers with it's tendrils. It's giant mouth flexes and gnaws at nothing while it's snake like tail wiggles and pushes it around.
