What is this food test?
Eating Pill/Coffee/Fruit + Ration usually.  Mush cannot eat 2 things within the same cycle... or 2-3 cycles.
Actually, you don't even have to ask people to do the food test.  They voluntarily do so themselves.

Also, I'm stuck in the corridor while dirty.    Game is stuck on loading screen.  People are looking to kill a mush now and are wondering why I am there.   I am going to die if it doesn't fix itself soon.

Huh, didn't realize there was such a cheesy easy mechanical way to identify any mush. This game is now easy. Perform food test, murder anyone who refuses, go on to win game.

There's tons of dumb cheesy ways to out Mush.  The MMM ships have emulated those French "prison ships" to the point where I actively avoid MMM launch days now.  It lessens my chances of ever getting a ship to go to Eden, but it also means I don't have to play with people who are into that sort of gameplay.

Actually, there is a rule disallowing you from killing people who outright refuse to take the test.  But, it is fine if everyone takes the test of their own accord.

Here are my 'prison ship' rules during mush phase.
Dismantle Alpha Dorm Shower.
Limit access to Bravo Dorm.  Anyone who takes a shower/walks in Bravo Dorm gets on Chao's torture list. (Torture people every now and then to show you mean business.)
Everyone should stay under a camera at all cycle changes, except Raluca, stay out of her shed. (Could check if people went at her from the two adjoining rooms that she stays in if she is not on between cycle 8 and 1... would need a cooperative/human Eleesha though, otherwise, inspect while she is away.)

'Luckily(?)', this time around, every human voluntarily did the food test on their own.  Except for Chao, the one who set up the rules.
Anyways, one of em was found out for slimetrap, reported by 2 people singling him out in the corridors, since the other person they were with had taken the food test.  (We... or at least Chao said we should serum that one and kill the other.)

That rule doesn't mean anything and we all know it.  If you don't take the test, or delay it, chances are you're Mush.  Those who don't take the test are suspicious then get killed.

Well, my MMM journey was cut short by the ship flat out hating me.  14 damage over the course of two cycles, was steel plated at full health but was like nah, still good, then steel plated and thrown to the ground again next cycle for the lulz.  I think it may've had something to do with the D-1000 that no one seemed to be worried enough to move the ship from, but I may never know.  Really fun ship, though the whole mush phase ended far too quickly.

Necromancy, I know but...

Just finally played my first game as mush.  Rolled Chao and decided wasn't worth the exp to go for Torturer, so I just went with shooter.  The first research thread is 60 replies by the second cycle, mostly bickering about nuetral play, but still a very active ship.  Then I'm mush.  I start the major mush hunting threads, I get Jin Su killed day 2.  I am constantly active in the mush hunt, bringing up different crazy theories, lying about spores from mycoscan and generally misleading Chun, Eleesha and the other active mush hunters.  Finally, they decide to go on a expo.  My big chance, and a fire occurs on the bridge knocking out the command terminal while Roland stands guard in the front Corridor.  I load my fuel, hope the fools left a blaster in lab for natamy research and make my move.  Roland takes three shots from a blaster but is still stnading, I lay into him.  Sadly, I walk onto the bridge with only 2 AP.  Repairs fail, I retreat to Ian to at least cost them a little more AP and am subsequently gutted.

But I got one last little victory. Human Paola inexplicably repairs the command terminal after my death and says "Fixed the terminal Chao" followed up by a "Oh gosh nevermind".  She is subsequently killed.

So yeah, being mush is fun.

Ah, you still need more AP to move the ship.  That was a pretty big gamble you done there.

It was pretty complicated, the only reason I failed was that there was a fire that took out the command terminal and Roland ended up taking out my shooter points and about 5 AP from punching.  Had I gotten a headshot, or luckier on my punches, I would have enough AP to probably repair command terminal and then a one fuel jump in whatever direction we were facing.

You know, I have never seen people actively guarding front corridor during an expedition.

Stealing the ship in general is generally a pretty big gamble. I love mush commanders, not just for the moving the ship part, but because they have the political capital to get people killed off.

I stopped playing this game because I could never get mush. Being Mush is fun.

An 'active' mush in the sense that it does a lot spore extraction, boobytrapping, etc. is quickly caught and does little damage in my experience. A far more scary mush is the deep cover agent, that extracts no spores (or minimum spores), does his job and makes no waves. The humans start killing each other simply because they cannot find the mush!

So... somehow, there is still a mush in a day 9 ship, the list was printed on day 7, 2 names.  A dead alpha mush and 1 other.  What are the chances of the other being the 2nd alpha mush?

Though I'd necrobump this old post. I just found this game. :P Thought I'd let other people know it was still going! Maybe others are still playing and could give tips? I'm still pretty green.

My first game stank (everyone AFK, ship blew up from hunters) but my second game has turned out pretty exciting, with more active people. A Mushy jumped into the body of our tech and assassinated our best player, but our super Chun was on the ball, and we hunted him/it down. Unfortunately our former Chef is now stuck in the body of a cripple...he misses his legs. We're still thinking up a nickname for him.

There's only one more Mush (unless there are Anonymush)-I think the last move was a suicide attack-and, we are having a few too many equipment failures for it to be random, I think.

I just hope my ship survives past Independence Day, lol.
