Nothing wrong with playing the semi-active IMO. But you'd have to be maxed in both AP and MP. It's hard for anyone but Chao to reach inactivity. I find it a boring way to play though and as mush, I've seen way more harm to the ship done by people being 'helpful'. It becomes pretty clear that you're mush when you don't help the ship. In some ways, helpful mush will also get a free pass out in that people are more likely to 'rescue' them with the serum or not kill them unless they're absolutely sure.

Also reporting won't get anyone killed. SDF reviews reports after the ship is destroyed. If anyone gets quarantined in the middle of a game, it's only because of something they did in previous ships.

Oh yeah.  Didn't mean to imply that reporting someone could fix the 'hard to kill' issue.

That's just my reaction to it.  When someone plays against the human team, I try to kill them; I find out they're human, I report them.

Sometimes it gets really, really hard to kill someone playing against the human team.  Hah, I remember this one pair of mush in a game with around 9 inactives; they spored on camera (accident?) but got the weapons and danced around the inactive Ian, and we had so little coordination, we actually could only kill one of them.  They kept healing each other (I stole the medikit back during a switch over) and using phagocyte to heal further, and then other problems started to happen, we had to choose to keep slogging away at that one mush or deal with broken O2 tanks and whatnot... that ship finally died like 5 days later, that mush still alive (yeah, we kept trying to kill it.... we just kept missing/only hurting it and it healed/having to not use all our AP to kill it 'cause... other problems and poor coordination).  Neither of those mush were reported.

I wouldn't normally (umm... I wouldn't ever?) report a mush for playing against the human team... that's exactly the point.  But if I don't have proof someone is a mush and they are being a pain to kill, I'm far more likely to report them right at that point instead of risking forgetting what I think is wrong about their play whenever they finally die or the game ends and I find out if they're Mush or Human.

Who was the alpha mush that you guys converted?

EDIT: Oh never mind, it was stephen.  Dang, wish I can get on a ship like yours one day, 15 actives and no Mush.

Congrats. Couldn't get to Eden myself. I think Eden is just a ploy to get people to buy gold for Janice/Finola.

I think I have to stop playing this game. It just reminds me every day how much "fun" it is to work with together with morons.

I jumped into a breather ship to have some fun as mush.
Picked character expecting to be mush.  Become mush.  Yay.

All I can say is it is a dead-end ship, without the help of the Mush... despite the fact that some poor guy spent Klix early on.

I hear you, except the same morons also scream bloody murder and report at will if they don't like how things pan out. Game is great, the people...not so much.

That and the whole tutorial inactives situation is enough for me. Maybe castings will be interesting though, at least know who you're on board with beforehand.

I died, it was expected though... since my tongue was torn very early on.  I'd have bluffed so freaking hard if I could have.

Doesn't help that my accomplice was not that great a mush either...  Not paying attention when sabotaging.  Sabotaging in the middle of the cycle to begin with.  She could have survived as a sleeper.
Which in turn condemned me 100% when I could have had a chance of the benefit of the doubt.  (After surviving 3 people trying to kill me.)

In the end, I died holding my dear cat... what more could I ask for?

EDIT: Apparently there is an annoying trend that has cropped up in ships.  People ask for everyone to post skills.  I make a point not to.  They'll have to manually check me if they want mine.

EDIT2: *Sigh*...  just not the same on these random ships.  Well.... time to take the crazy RP up to 11.

How do you do this? I'd like to be mush :P

I tortured two people to death on my current ship (including Jin Su) and convinced people that that I tortured a third person to death. Then I kept mush Paola leashed to the bridge so that I could get AP from her logistics. Wee, crazy Chao!

Yeah, I'm playing on the line of getting sanctioned here, but pretty sure that the mods will agree with the logic of having done all that if someone reports it.

Yep, MMM worked.  Gangnam style Jin op op op op'ing around the ship, Plasma shield on day 1 and Eleesha is a gold player who did a food test with the first coffee in Alpha dorm.

Ah, definitely not on your ship.  Still in the mush hunt phase.  Security is tyrannymagic.

EDIT: I kinda don't get why people would be heavy-handed with the 'you are required to do the food test' thing.  You just gotta do it smart.

You tell em that the food test is 100% voluntary.  If you pass the test, you will be off the watch list.  As long as you continue to park under the cameras and 'be safe'.
People who are against the test don't really have as much grounds to object to people voluntarily doing it.

By watch list, I mean Chao's friendship.
