HI KUAN TI!  Yeah ----- was on when it happened and we plotted to kill you.  Sorry!
OH GOD DAMN IT. Anyway, I blame myself for not checking for an alarm first.

So...  maybe you shouldn't give out names of characters still alive.

But he's not Mush though?  What's the problem in that?

But what's to say Hua isn't Mush?  What if she tricked me?  And is itn't it way worse if I reveal a Mush rather then a human?

Eh, then people start to think it is ok to reveal information outside the game to dispel the suspicions that X character just might be a mush.
I may have been guilty of this earlier on in the thread.  Heh.

Anyone know when that castings thing is going to be launched?  I'd love to do a mush-free ship and see how long we can last.

Up to 17% hull, we're still probably going to die within the next day, but discovery of an Oscilloscope BP has got me a little excited.  My Ian is likely heavily suspected of being mush, but without any technicians I've stepped up into the hull repair mode while still running to the lab once a day to check my precious bananas. It's making the end of this game a little more compelling than I thought it was going to be.  I'm only 3 cycles from seeing my first banana trees grow up!

Apparently the code's all done and it's available in french and spanish. They just need to translate it.

You probably won't be able to afford casting tickets though. Best way is the old "everyone jump on a ship on the same time" technique.

My record was D18C6, and D16 on my current ongoing ship. Not fun at all. By D18, you can lose 8 HP per cycle. Fires get brutal - they'll target your most valuable resources (like jumpkin plants and food) and destroy like 15 things at once. You end up spending all your time finding out who's wounded and who needs healing.

I tried doing the cube.... when my ship was on fire and people were dying left and right.  I survived long enough to use over 15 AP on it.  To no avail.
Ah yes... dead weight that uses resources.  Great people.

I am 'that guy' on the ship... with the gun.

You're lucky you don't get sanctioned for that kind of stuff. Players in this game are really trigger happy with reporting for any reason. The mod team doesn't fill me with confidence either.   ::)

Mods have said that you can't get sanctioned for doing the cube. But killing someone just because they did the cube is sanctionable.

Well I've got tickets just sitting in my account from going past 10 days so I wanted to use them is all.  8HP loss per cycle sure sounds annoying though.

That is why you give/find other reasons.  "Just one of many."

I usually try to convince people that I'm doing the infernal kube just to troll people into reporting me. It's become like a secret signature move :P

My favorite attempt was when people were pulling coffee for me every cycle and I kept asking on the chat how to know if I solved the kube.

my current ship is on day 16 as well ( wonder if it is the same). keeping everyone alive is quite hard, especially since we have no medic/nurse, but we are doing surprisingly well. perhaps we will be able to break that D18 C6 record.

Pretty sure it's a marketing move. Let the game as-is run long enough that some people just get on the verge of losing interest...

And then introduce something they've really been wanting, that will bring them back to the game and get them to drop an extra pile of cash on the developers.

It's the model they follow with all their games.

Beta: Everyone is special, experience the special!
Introduction: Everyone is normal, pay us to regain what you had in Beta
Shake-up: Those things you wanted in Intro and Beta? We've got them! Come back and pay for it (and then realize it honestly wasn't really that great, but now you're playing and paying again)
