Sounds awesome. If you're mush-free and looking good later on, but still short of map pieces, you might considering visiting Mantarok planets - there's a risk of losing someone, yeah, but a fairly high chance of finding artifacts as well.

French wiki says that the artifact chance from Mankarog is only about 5%

perfect. finola kills jin su(human) without telling anyone because he was dirty and it wasn't reported in the dirty thread. It is day 1! as far as we know he could have gotten dirty before mush was even appointed! he was reported eating a meal. we should have waited at least until day 2 before organizing a lynch mob. Now command has passed to chao, who just went through the tutorial. If I weren't Ian, I would propose offing Finola. I understand the reason, but you don't just shoot the captain without consulting with anyone first.

My ship managed to make the jump back to Sol on day 5.... so I'm free for another ship if something is happening this weekend.

In which case, replace what I said previously with "And apparently I'm a lucky bastard. :V"

We have a rather interesting situation on my ship. We have completed the serum and plenty of projects, we believe both mush are dead (they were noob, so this is likely), and we have no current threats. However, we have no Ian and no Raluca, nor do we have anyone with the Technician skill. Our only pilot is Hua, who at least got shooter from a book.

Our only chance of survival is Pilgred, but that is only at about 17%. So we have instituted a system where EVERYONE works on pilgred, except Hua, who saves ap to deal with any hunters, and Paola, who does Ian's job and takes care of the plants since most comms things have already been done. By my calculation, we are going to need a total of 166 ap to complete Pilgred, or about 28 per each of the 6 surviving crew members devoting their time to it. So, 2 days, theoretically, 3 perhaps more realistically, 4 most likely, if at all.

Is there ANY way to boost pilgred repair rates?

Aside from getting a Technician magebook or someone buying Gold (and grabbing the skill - Terrence and Kuan Ti both get it for example).... no.

Edit: Ugh. I'm STILL suffering from the damn MMM ship. One of our Mush is going on and on and on and on in the forums about how absolutely terrible I am, despite the fact that the ship isn't even finished yet.

Both Kuan Ti and Terrence are dead. Half the ship is dead. But really, is that all? No research/project/comms thingy or anything that helps speed things up?

Nope. You just gotta coordinate and sink in the time!

I'm getting so many ideas for mush play from all the paranoia going on in my games. I really hope I will be mush in my next game.

What do you think about this one: Let's say you are mush and you see in the logs that someone dropped an item in a room and only a few other players came through the room since then. So you hide the item, then search the room to find it immediately and then announce it in the chat + a list of everyone who went through this room since the item was dropped. Too easy to see through or cranking up the paranoia up to eleven?  :P

New game.  I'm a level 3 reporter... and there is no inventory thread.  I'm thinking I may have a good time mush hunting, unless this ship is full of inactives...   or I get killed by Jin Su...  I'll probably throw more in character insults at him for the heck of it later.

Hmm... how do we get more AP and MP per round?
I'm getting 1 of each and I'm pretty sure everything will blow up soon if I can't move the ship.

Nobody seems to care that hunters are piled up, that there's a rogue Chao shooting people and not communicating, and whatever else.
Or maybe I'm being way too active wanting people to comment on what's happening in every cycle  :P

But I don't want to die stupid death in my first game, but it seems this is the path everyone want to take.

--
Also, any tips on combat? I had a private channel with someone and they suddenly quit AND it shows another death in the HUD, so I think I lost my friend and councellor/tutor, so I'm doomed.

It honestly feels like a lot of their problems came from the fact that their entire team was composed of cats, and the people who were supposed to be herding them were also cats.
