Yeah, I planned to do that myself on my last ship. Eleesha was frickin' deadly, and a gold player, but I'd managed to snare her twice with spores - however, she killed my partner day 1. However, the heat was building on me, and she was pressing on me over and over again. So the plan was to finish sporing her and then try to kill her. Either I killed her (and immediately filled my empty slot with anonymush, looking like she was a Mush who had been persecuting me all along, and convincing everyone else I was clean) or she killed me (meaning she was someone who'd done her job incredibly well and hounded an Alpha Mush from day 1 until taking him out and revealing him as mush). Since she was incredibly smart and competent, I had no doubt that she would immediately take Anonymush herself if that happened.

Either way, the ship would believe that the final Alpha Mush had been killed before he could do any damage, and we could all rest easy.

Sadly, Finola killed me before I could carry out the plan. But I did manage to say something along the lines of "Just grab Finola in the corridor, I managed to stick her with a second Spore, she's easy pickings" followed by "ignore that" in that public chat as a parting gift. Sure, they may have eliminated the final Mush, but that didn't mean I couldn't make them suspect there was at least one mush still left on the ship that needed to be murdered and that Finola might already be mush and should probably be murdered as well just to be sure. :V

Hopefully the Paranoia netted me a victory (I haven't gotten back the game results yet though - anyone know if there's a way to check on previous games you've been in?)

So much fun.

I think they do yes. But it seems pretty irrelevant, if oxygen runs out everyone dies and the mush win anyway, no?

Nope.  That's what happens when the ship explodes.  When O2 runs out, players (thought just humans) suffocate one by one each cycle.

However, we hit 0 O2 and my character, a converted mush, died.  Totally surprised me.  If I'd known I -could- suffocate, I would have jumped into a space suit.
I am in a spacesuit! Hahaha! :P

Very nice, Kolbur!  I did indeed have a plan to finish hastening your doom.  And I knew you were in a space suit, because I saw the room log of you picking it up.  Terrence ate the banana you were asking me about, btw.  Your moving around made me think you were coming to try and shoot me before you died, so I moved around enough to use up the AP I expected to finish you with.  So you got one more cycle before I did so... and then I didn't have any more cycles.

So I assume the offline mush suffocated the next cycle and you're either now smithereens on the ship you cannot solo save, or you're still heading towards smithereenness.  What a pity I didn't figure out a way to convert you.  Now we all lose - which was the closest to a win you could have done and very good play.

Ships you've finished may or may not get an [AP] specific name going on the Twinoid forum Lounge section.  In that one or more players explain all the goings on they know about and those who want to come in and joke or vent about what they enjoyed or hated.  However usually the ships totally finish before people create those threads, so you'll have to wait until more are dead.  You get notified eventually that everything's been calculated and your run finalized, that's usually when the [AP] thread starts, though ships that win or the last player to die sometimes starts it sooner.  Usually those alive near the end agree on a name to call their [AP] thread, but those that die early never hear the name and kinda have to match the thread (if one is made) with the events they know to find their party.

I am under suspicion apparently because someone else(Stephen) cooked a ton of food on day 1 and I ate one of the cooked rations rather than let it spoil just before the end of the day.

Ah, paranoia setting, max.  You might have 1 spore, oh no!  But then, you are pretty easy to convert if the 2 alpha mush can coordinate it.

They really should have more of a problem with Stephen...

You can spike a ration up to 3 times actually. So eating a single ration on day 1 could actually be a day 1 full conversion, since the Mush can get up to four spores and do as many kitchen plants as they want.

Also, ugh, my ship. I'm glad there were a couple non-terrible people on it, but even if we'd 100% identified the Mush we couldn't have done anything about it. 5 days of dedicated planet scanning by not just Frieda but two others, with Frieda benefitting from my logistics skill, and we didn't find a single planet with o2.

We had a good-as-inactive Chao, a good-as-inactive Eleesha, an Ian who ragequit because we tried mush-hunting through conversation, a Hua who flipped her shit over the whole spore-sucker mechanical attempt at mush-hunting and attempted to undermine every attempt at organization the crew made, (what the fuck DID they want us to do? Who knows.) an inactive Raluca, a Finola who logged on once a day for 10 minutes (still better than the as-good-as-inactives) and a Chun who said maybe 10 lines the entire game and made mistakes with half of them, a Giole who didn't speak any English (I actually enjoyed having him aboard though, it was clear he was google translating and reading absolutely everything, but communication was sometimes difficult).

Just... ugh. What a miserable experience. That was the highest numbers of worthless or easily butthurt players I have ever seen in this game.

At least I had a great Roland, Terrence, and a decent Jin Su and Giole on board. Had some fun times, regardless.

I am definitely not interested in doing another MMM ship though, seriously encountered the highest number of just miserable people to play with ever on this run ever.

I'd be up for another Bay12 attempt this weekend though. If there's two others who are interested, I know we can /at least/ all get on the same ship with three of us, if we have patience.

The attempt on the Mush forums to get a bunch of "experienced" players together. Pretty much all of the players on my ship joined from the MMM thread, except one (who was immediately killed off by the guy who turned out to be the Mush).

All I know is that I never want to play with the sort of people who want to do an MMM again.

But seriously - does anyone know how see past games you've participated in? Is it even possible? I've never gotten a message about them or a link or anything. :/ But people clearly post links here.

My account > My file (was that record in french? I don't get it, do devs just don't care or can't hire a professional translator ? Same thing happens in every twinoid game) and you should see the list of your previous games. Unless they are all still going that is.

On my half-active ship we were just fucked over by "no english." kuan-ti who put AP into pneumatic distributor instead of plasma shield. That wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have Neron Participation up that will finish the distributor soon and we have no techs to finish the shield before that. Ugh.

Thanks!

Any idea when people stop being anonymous and get their accounts revealed?

Give or take.... a week or two after it ends, since the inactives usually do not come back to do the final words.

EDIT: Nice, the next captain in line gets to give missions too.  (We killed our inactive Jin Su, he was the 2nd mush.)

All inactive Jin Su are going to die on my ships from now on.

It's why any ship worth it's salt requires him to absolutely always go on expeditions (and gives the hacker kit to chun or brings that along too!)

The EXACT same thing happened on my ship as well. Except my Kuan Ti is quite fluent in english. We just got the fire detector instead of the plasma shield because Neron Participation. Kuan Ti had gone and used a free action on each of Plasma Shield and Fire Detector because fuckwit Roland's immediate response to hearing that we had both Plasma Shield and Fire Detector was "well, I would like it not to have to run all over the ship trying to find the fire again". At least he died on the next expedition.
