Welp, got mushed and then killed the same day. (Didn't realize eating a ration wouldn't give me AP, which made it obvious I wasn't human anymore)

Sorry it had to happen like that Shadowlord.  When you became active and saw that you were Mush, did you take anonymush?  We saw the crew counter change from 3 mush to 2 when you became active and we suspected it was you.

Yeah. I realized immediately after picking it that I really really shouldn't have, since the mush count dropping immediately after I had started talking was really obvious.

Anonymush shouldn't be taken by new mush. It should be taken by old mush who reserve a slot open.

Mush disappearance trick can be done by spiking some idle person (e.g. in the corridor) then taking anonymush. If they're inactive enough, you can accuse them of being mush when they don't starve/kill themselves after everyone else does. They'll kill the inactive mush, and the counter will look like there's two dead mush. It's a bit of a waste since it's so hard to spike people and gets much harder with research like constipaspore/mycoalarm/antispore gas.

Anyway, could we set up like a temp IRC chan for the B12 jump? It doesn't have to be up long. Or at least a countdown.

Right, while my detective skills are questionable (largely due to me being horrid with names) I think I should take action. One person dead another turned mush so things are afoot. How do I go about killing someone?

How are you guys playing?

When I go to the website it tells me the servers are moving.

EDIT: and 5 minutes later, the website is working.

Should I wait to enter a game until tomorrow?

Grab a knife. Stab stab stab.
Might want to look for the armor too. Armor really helps reduce damage.
Blaster is really underwhelming in my experience. 50% chance to hit (lower than unarmed attacks), only 3 damage. Since you only get two slots, just save it for knife and armor. Only exception is if you're playing a character with Shooter, which gives you critical hits and lowers the chances of literally shooting yourself in the foot. I've seen Chao headshot plenty of chars thanks to Shooter.
Grenades are decent too, but I think you also hurt yourself.
I think there are some even better weapons that can be built, like Lizaro Jungle or something.

Supreme Commander Jin Su Log, Day 7, Cycle 6

These are the last hours of the Daedalus. We have no oxygen left, there are too many Hunters for us to deal with and they're about to completely destroy the ship. In a couple of hours, the Daedalus will be reduced to crumbs. According to the sensors, there are only three of us left, but I haven't seen the other two in a while. Since the beginning of the day, people have started to die either from lack of oxygen or decided to put an end to their misery. But I won't give up. I am the Supreme Commander of this ship, and I won't lay down and wait for Death to come taking me in my sleep. I've managed to breach the BIOS and remove the lock from the Icarus, and now I'm able to pilot it and reach the planet we're orbiting. I don't have full information about what I'm about to find on it, but I don't have any other choice. There will be no ship for me to get back to, no one of my old fellow comrades will ever come to rescue me. We were so close to be able to return to Sol, but things went awry when our technician became a filthy Mush and started to sabotate our oxygen tanks instead of repairing the Pilgred.
Our incomplete scan of the planet reported that there are intelligent beings living there. The only thing that I can do is to hope that they're friendly.
If this log will ever be found among the debris of the Daedalus, I want to tell you that the planet I'm heading to is Pamplepia Iota. If you'll ever reach me, and find me alive, I will happily offer you some good alien drink.
The time for me to go has come. Farewell, Daedalus, and may you all rest in peace, my fellow comrades. It has been a short but intense trip together.

Kim Jin Su,
Supreme Commander of the Daedalus.

How do you get a knife? Since I didn't know where to find it and time was of the essence I just resorted to good old fashioned fisticuffs. The guy was mush to, and I'm pretty sure I know who the other is. I do believe this makes me a certified mush hunter!  :D

All items are 'around somewhere', and they start the game more or less scattered all over the place.  One of the first tasks on my ship was the creation of an inventory thread, and people were asked to search the ship and report what items were where - and/or report where they moved certain of those items to (where they 'should' go).  So you'd have to wander looking for the knife, but it -also- could be on another crew member, in their possession.  If so, the only way for you to get it would be to persuade them to drop it... through discussion in game, or through brute force.

I'd like to consider the 'persuasion' process as Heavy Handed Diplomacy.  The one character that can get to the truth of that is Eleesha...  of course it could be fabricated, since it is pretty hard to verify what she says.

It is a matter of ones words against another.  And how kill happy people are.
