I signed up. The forum like structure, and ability to pop on for 5 minutes multiple times a day to deal with stuff, and the fact that it runs on the browser so i can use my craptop for it, means I should be more than active enough. Just need this ship to end though.

Whelp, MUSH just hacked the command centre and jumped the ship leaving poor ol Terrence to die. :(
Definitely my shortest game, but the crew was sorta clueless, so maybe it's for the best that I died early.

1 mush stabbed, 1 person abandoned, 2 fires, 1 broken door, 11 smashed equipment and 10 hunters. Day 3, Cycle 7. Standard voyage for the Daedalus or should I start worrying?

Well I'm almost Day 4 and we've had 3 broken doors, 1 broken oxygen (random event). And that's it... I think 80% of our crew is inactive though. Someone just had their title stripped.

My game just ended.  In a blaze of hunter fire. How did it come to be?  Our Chao was inactive, Roland was just an inactive sprinter who came back to life, and Hua was a mush.  Being that we only had 1 pilot in total, we were not able to salvage from the hunters either.

It also did not help, when on the 3rd day, Eleesha, the tracker was converted, in a dorm that had a camera, without anyone noticing after the fact.  She was the one who looked over the logs and went everywhere.  The mush did not manage to convert anyone before then, scared they were of being found out.  There was much suspicion, for the old Mush, but Eleesha, now a double agent managed to calm the lynch squad... and the accusations spread wide and were ineffective.

And so the Daedalus and its occupants were never heard from again.

Welp. Our Freida just went mad and attacked Raluca for no reason. Roland happend to wander by and notice and called for help. I was 2 doors down in the dorm so I sprung to action, went to storage. Double checked the logs to make sure I wasn't being duped. Freida called out to put her out of her misery, so I did. she was human... huh? Now my hands are bloody and I have gastroetnitis or whatever. yay?

Things seem calm and stable-ish on my ship.  We're still at 15 players, our weird Stephen started talking, apparently he can 'uncook' food too?  And he uncooked a lot of it.  Our big problem now is that our Gioele put 8 fuel, not 6, into the expedition to a planet so we didn't get to expedite anything, apparently that planet is now 'lost' as well even though ship's not moved and of course planets don't sail away...  so why is the planet lost I don't get it?

But it appears to be an innocent mistake? and so people are working on finding another planet.  Research is getting done, Projects are getting done.  We had two fires break out but we found and fought them both (I managed to find and put one out, whee!)  Communication remains mostly high, with 11 players who are semi-to-highly active and communicating well, so I have high, though ignorant hopes for us!

I'd watch that Gioele closely. He might be new, but a common mush tactic is to feign ignorance and 'accidently' put too much fuel in the engines.

Day 10 cycle 7 here and the RNG is getting mean - three fires just spontaneously broke out. Six of us left (no active mush) - we've been clinging on by our fingernails for the last 5 days. Both the hull and the oxygen have been as low as 2 in that time. The secret to our survival thus far is a combination of 3 pilots, oxygenated ducts, one excellent expedition (that netted 24 oxygen + 11 fuel), and a fully operational hydroponics farm. I can't see us winning - even spending almost all our ap putting out fires, repairing and using the medkit, entropy is managing to gain ground with current breakages at 13 and rising. Projects and pilgred haven't been touched in yonks. My fondest hope right now is getting a chance to fix the coffee machine...

Thank you.  One thing I'm not discussing from my ship is any of the Mush hunting stuff that may or may not be happening aboard it - at least until it's over.  For all I know, I've got crewmates reading this thread, and they're no longer human!

But I do want tips and things others notice.  I'm just not going to discuss 'what people think is Mushy or not' aboard my ship until the shooting's over  8)

This could have been such an awesome game had Motion Twin not decided to fuck it up by simultaneously making it impossible to gain more skill slots for free, using the whole AP system and not allowing to play two games at once. Oh, so you decided to move to another room? Sorry, you'll have to come back tomorrow to do anything more. And at the same time people who can log in twice or more often during the day after gaining some APs can perform more efficiently than the others. Bleh.

Give him the shower test. First, insist he checks the fuel levels until he is dirty. Then get Finola/Chun to meet you in a shower dorm with a medpack, and if he is injured heal him up to full first. Insist he take a shower, and not leave the room afterwards. Once he is no longer dirty, have Finola/Chun use the medpack on him. If damage is healed... he's a mush! The water damages mush and no one else, so this is a full-proof way to out someone.

Of course, high level Mush can take shower-proof, so if he doesn't take damage it does NOT mean he is in the clear, but he's probably not a Mush.

Can also be avoided by quickly ingesting a spore right after shower, so not fool proof.

Would feeding a Mush a spoiled ration work as a test?
