Also, anyone who gets on a ship with me, this is the plan:
Phase 1 (Operation Inventory)
Initial inventory: 2 chars dispatched to each "quarter" of the ship to do inventory and move items.
Paola invests in Neron Upgrade
Everone else works on researching Spore Sucker

Phase 2 (Operation Mush Suck)
Chun gets the knife and armor.
An active char with "shooter" meets up with her in a camera-dorm after grabbing the spore sucker.
That character then uses the spore sucker on themselves.
If they get dirty, they are confirmed human. They retrieve the blaster, and serve as a guard for the next subject.
Every character is processed in order. If a character cannot use the spore sucker and thus cannot get dirty, they are brutally murdered for being mush.

Phase 3 (Mush Free Eden)
Victory!

Mine seems to be ok... 1 2 dead mush.  10 actives/semi in total I believe.  2 active anti-hunters.  We are doing awesome with the Neron type research... but progress with lab research is stalled.  Also, we seem to be doing ok with the planet exploration stuff.  Day 6... we may be able to make it somewhere.

Also, anyone who gets on a ship with me, this is the plan:
Phase 1 (Operation Inventory)
Initial inventory: 2 chars dispatched to each "quarter" of the ship to do inventory and move items.
*snip*
One of the movers should be Terrance... you can set up a chain for moving everything to where they need to go if you can coordinate that awesomely.  Sprinter Roland is a decent alternative, as is anyone else with the scooter.

Part of why they are going with teams is so that terrence can help clear out the SE section, yeah.

But the basics will be, assuming everyone is active:
Terrence+Chao: Rear-Alpha. Alpha Bay, Alpha Bay 2, Alpha Storage/o2 room whatever it is called, rear alpha storage. Return through engine room/rear storage/centralcorridor.
Eleesha+Stephen: Rear-bravo. Bravo Bay, Bravo Storage, Rear Bravo Storage, Icarus Bay. Return through engine room/rear storage/centralcorridor.

For both of these groups, the goal is to move things to the dorms and install camera in said dorms if possible.

Front ship will be:
Jin Su and Giole check Central Alpha Turret and Front Alpha Turret and Front Alpha Storage and central corridor and garden.
Chun pops out to check Central Bravo Turret.
Frieda and Paola hit both front turrets, and the central corridor.

I'm of the understanding that Terrance uses zero move points if someone is there to push him out of the room...

Completely true, but a bit difficult to coordinate without ending up wasting more MP overall really.

Just tell people to idle at X spots when you first start.  (As long as you know Terrance is totally on board with the job at hand.)
Edit: Then you really only need Terrance and 1 or 2 people to get the job done for the whole ship.

Welp, my ship just ended at day 12.  Every cycle we had 10-20 ships attacking us, 1-3 fires, broken equipment.  It was insane, we didn't even have the AP between all of us to kill enough hunters to take their scrap.  A shame too, as we had enough plants to where we were only losing 1 per cycle, and we produced a surplus amount of food.

12 days is impressive! I think you get casting tickets if you even get that far. Most people will head to Sol by then because it gets too risky. You did get PILGRED done by then, right?

Always deal with hunters first, because they cause equipment/fires. There's also a point where you just stop fighting hunters and keep jumping the ship, unless the ship is blessed with multiple pilots.

Yeah that was our problem, our Hua was a Mush so we lost a pilot there.  We were jumping every cycle to get away from those Borg cube Mush so we decided to just jump to Sol before our ship got wrecked.

Hmm, I guess that works. If Chao, Eleesha, and Terrence are all active, they could probably scout out the whole ship themselves and get everything where it needs to go.

I REALLY hope we get a Giole with Paranoid, I would love to be able to have an expedition room camera, bridge camera, both dorms camera'd and a lab camera.

my ship is currently on day 6, mush is dead , but so is chun. Everybody else is alive, but gioele and perhaps another are inactive. so, between 10 and 12 actives, all working well. so far we only fought hunters, without big damage. we are low on oxygen, but we are launching an expedition to recover some, and our plants are doing well. Pilgred is almost repaired, which means a lot more coffee for us!

overall, all seems good. Which is actually quite worrying... I wonder what will happen next.

Chun dead never sounds good. Watch the morale, it'll dwindle down rather quickly.

If chun's dead, is it even possible to research the retro spore thingy to win the game?

we have a virtual chun, so it is all good for research. we are keeping an eye on morale, but janice seems to be enough so far. besides, we got the rebel base that gives +6 morale. that alone is worth 3 days of morale loss.

My ship lost Jinsu (he were mush) and Janice (she were newbie never talked and killed herself).

We kept morale up through loooots of 'doing it' after we found and killed all of our mush.  To the point that our afterparty got named 'sexy time' as the best description of our ship.

Doing it can even cure depression.  So you have the tools needed to manage morale if you must!
