You put some coolwhip on Janice's hand, and take out the good ol' feather. You tickle her a bit on the neck.
She groans, bringing her hand up to her face which gets splattered with coolwhip, She looks at you, then her creamed hands, then the clock.

"Oh, FUCK." She yells, jumping out of bed. She frantically slips her clothes on.
Janice then takes her pink heart necklace off.
"Violet, can you hold this?" She asks.

"Oh, your necklace su-" You say. Suddenly Janice literally TAKES her head off. Her disembodied head yawns, with her dis-headed body placing it's own head in your hands.

"Hold it up to the back of my body." She says. A pink gas seems to be coming out of her body's neck. What in the actual fuck.
In trembling shock, you hold up her head to the back of her body.
"Hmmm..." She says, with you in complete, utter silence. Her body gives a thumbs up and gently takes it's head back. Her body puts the head back on. A line still shows where the head and body come together. She puts her pink necklace on, which seems to magically connect it, with no line at all.

"Oh, sorry, did you think I was human?" She says, blinking her blue eyes.

"What exactly ARE you..?" You muster up, recollecting your sense that you've thrown out the figurative window.

"I'm a Dulluhan!" she says, smiling.
"A dollar ham?" You say, confused as shit.
"No, Dulluhans are monsters that can take their head off and put it back on." She explains
Well that explains a lot.

Janice hasn't even seen Tia yet.
 "Hey, Janice!" She says.
 "Oh, hi Tia." She says, already acquainted.

Tia flies up and sits on your shoulder as you and Janice walk to the GAME ROOM, instead of going to the library where you can see your mother. You can see her later, for no- You think to yourself before getting cut off.

You bumped into Katherine, who was texting on her telecom.
 "HEY, watch where your going, ugly." She says. Aw HELL naw.

None of us suggested this that I can see. Suggestions:

Down he whole thing, including the bottle. Because we are made of slime this shouldn't be the most problematic experience.

At the very least, we should share. Not that I'm sure why we're eating plain cool whip in the first place.

Let's just try to wake her up, or at least check if she's alright.

God dammit, the AR games are all taken. They're pretty popular and class starts in 15 minutes... Your Dullahan friend points towards a YBox. Well, may as well, she wants to play it.

You turn the YBox and see what's in. Ah, Halo 5 is in. You start to play it with Tia and Janice until it's time to go to class.
To Mr. Stark's Magic History.

His class is in the Terra tower, so you head there. Terra tower, that sounds cool.

You enter his class, which is littered with history posters. Same ol' class, with your mummy teacher standing.
 "Ah, welcome Violet." He says, his eyes glowing yellow.
 "Now, let's get down to business," Mr. Stark says, walking around the front of class where the holoboard is.

 "During the 2020 mutation, scientists have shown that many monsters have been able to use certain supernatural abilities... After further examination, it was confirmed that it was indeed magic. Since then, many applications of magic have been developed..." He says.

 "Adrian, stop talking with Max please." The mummy says, letting out a sigh.
 "Yes sir, Mr. Stark sir!" Adrian, the hornet guy says.

Katherine, that asshole human girl you bumped into earlier, is talking with two other girls, Spectris and Askari.
 Mr. Stark lets out a painful sigh as he rubs his forehead. "Katherine. Stop. Talking." Hey says.
 Suddenly a paper ball comes flying towards him and hits Mr. Stark in the head.

"WHO THREW THAT!?" Mr. Stark's voice rises, and has an echo. His eyes glow red and his head bandage starts floating up.
 Katherine starts laughing while Spectris and Askari scoot back.
 "Katherine!" Mr. Stark barks.
 Katherine stops talking.

Class goes on normally from there. Mr. Stark is scary.
Now to your actual RUNE magic class, with your master, Master Aquarius, the fat mermaid woman. The class is located at the top of the Aqua Tower.
 You enter the classroom. Your normal class isn't here, but a mix of other monsters. The room is decorated with fish tanks and posters on runic magic and the color contest. The lighting is dark blueish and the reflection of water ripples are on the dark blue wall.

"Alright, uh... Students. Let's see what you can do before we do everything else. Do something with rune magic, write it on your back hand." Your rune master states, before getting back to what seems to be eating a fish sandwich.

Alright, time to draw your BEST rune on your back hand. You must IMPRESS! What rune should you draw? You should make a unique one.

Make a rune of invisibility combined with a rune of fire. Then you can set things on fire without anyone knowing where it came from!

You must IMPRESS. You point your glowing violet finger and get to work. You draw down some of the magic principles: Ignis, Fabrico, Fractum, Imperitio, Motum, and Volito.
You are going to summon a cube that will explode in a fiery explosion.
You get drawing in explicit detail.
You finish, and look at your handiwork. It's a very intricate design of overlapping magic runes. Each one has shapes and symbols which distinguish and connect the others, and give each one a specific task. You feel like Corvo Attano.
 You raise your hand to gather your teacher's attention.
 "Ah', you done, Violet?" She says, waddling over to you. She picks your hand up and examines it.
 "Lovely design! Ooh, an explosive projectile? Please demonstrate!" She says, backing up.
You stand up and look towards the center of the room which seems designed for this specific purpose. You take aim and channel your energy inside the rune. The runes light up and a dark cube is conjured into your hand. You concentrate hard and begin to maneuver the cube. You launch it towards the center and it explodes in a fiery display and fragments. The entire class ducks down for cover while your master simply stands and applauds, laughing.
 "Oohoohooo! Lovely work, Violet!" The mermaid says, still clapping. You did good, Violet. You did good...

Another girl comes up, some tree girl. She weakly conjures a magelight which quickly flickers out.
 "Boring! Next!" Your master barks. She's not very encouraging. You can tell she likes destruction better.

After some more presentations, finally, Katherine comes up. Huh, she's a rune wizard.
 "Alright, last one, we gotta' wrap up." Master Aquarius says.
Katherine nods and energizes her rune. Suddenly a large array of lightning bolts and electric arcs appear in her hands. She aims towards your desk and she fires a large, blue current arcing into your desk. You jump back, careful not to touch it.

 "Ooh, lovely work, Katherine!" She says, smiling and clapping.
 "Class is hereby adjourned. I need to see Violet after class." She says as everyone starts to pack their things.

Everyone else has vacated the blue classroom except you. You walk towards Master Aquarius's desk, nervous. She looks up, and your gaze meets her. She speaks in a serious tone;
"Violet. I want you to participate in the local color contest." She says, completely serious.
"W- Wai-, what!?" You muster up, throwing your sense out the figurative window.

Participating in the colors contest is a great honor.
In the LOCAL color contest, three students of each magic type compete over a two-week course. It is also a popularity contest. Each day, each students vote on the most popular girl, and the most popular gains a point. Fights are permitted during the two weeks. The magic fights can occur ANYWHERE, at ANY time of the day. The fights are between two opponents. The victor of the fight gains a point.
The winner of the contest and the two runner-ups of each other magic type participate in the large games, which is between the other schools.

Considering you're one of more than 600 rune witches in the school, this is a great honor.

"Well, Violet? Will you please help represent the runic magics by competing..?" The mermaid asks, still looking up to you.
