   You turn over to Violet as you walk through the halls of the damp stone, escorted by menacing shadowmancers on both sides.
 She needs you.   You think to yourself, stopping dead in your tracks as you look down with a grim look on your face. The shadowmancers turn over to you.
 "Keep moving, scum." a hooded woman says, poking you with the back of her trident. Violet's scarlet-colored, silky red hair and plain red eyes flash in your mind, along with the words do no harm. She's counting on you  -- you can't just abandon her like this. You turn and face Violet, gazing at her with your plan black eyes with uncertainty. You have to help her. You begin to draw in mana from the enviroment to charge your Hexabeam -- the light and cool feeling moves through your tentacle tips calmly as magic power draws inside of you. With one swift motion, you jab the two shadowmancers beside you with your tentacles in the eye and point four tentacles towards the woman behind her. The woman has long and black curly hair with a tourmaline hued snake's tail slithering behind her. She's a lamia. You release the magic and discharge four of your hexabeams, causing an orange beam of powerful magic to shoot from your tentacles and strike the woman in the back. The poisoned knife drops from her hands easily as she staggers to the side with a yelp of pain. Violet springs up and decks the nearest shadowmancer in the face with strong fists, easily knocking her out. She appears to have obviously gotten stronger. Could it be the Bizarre Slime in her body? This thought greatly piques your interest -- has nobody ever interested you more scientifically than Violet Rondo, whose life and soul was created purely from bizarre slime.

   You raise a tentacle in the air above you and incant; "Lumos!", causing a ball of light to conjure from your tentacle tip. The light isn't very bright, so you doubt it will actually harm the Lamia shadowmancer much, but will give some light in the dark building.
 "Violet, let's get out of here." you say towards Violet who nods promptly before rushing through the hallway with you. Violet rushes past you and through the stone hallway to scout the area.
   Suddenly, you hear the woman behind you whisper; "Imperio.", with an invisible projectile following. The ball strikes you before you can react and you take in a deep breath as a light-headed feeling fills your mind with docile thoughts. You begin to move against your will -- towards Violet. Unable to resist, you stride towards her with dominated thoughts -- you stretch a tentacle out behind her as she rushes through, using your stretch charm against your own will as her Imperius curse controls you.

   You can't really resist. Violet turns her head to you in surprise -- she swiftly takes aim with her phoenix blaster and fires a blazing shot of Ignis aspect into the shadowmancer. You quickly loose your footing* and almost fall as the Imperius curse breaks. You look up to Violet who flashes you a grin.

 "Once again, you save me Violet! Thank you!" you say with a gleeful smile. Returning to your happy demeanor, you begin to walk through the hallway with Violet. You turn to her, gazing at her figure. You want to learn about her. Who created her? What strain of bizarre slime was used to create her? It is unlikely she actually knows the answer to these questions, but it simply intrigues you. You walk through an archway which leads to a long room with groups of chatting shadowmancers. The room has stone walls and at the end, sits a throne which a tall woman and an old man stand. The man has blood-red eyes and light grey hair, with a dark cloak covering him bearing the runic symbol of Mortus. Shit, this guy is a rune lich.

 "If it isn't our friend, Violet Rondo! And..." the voice sitting on the throne calls out from across the room. The groups of shadowmancers stop their chatting and glance at you and Violet.

 "Doctor Hexapus." you curtly state.
 "And Dr. Hexapus!"

   Dr. Hexapus just saved your life -- you just saved his. It's like a perpetual loop of life saving. You'll have to thank him later, but you have a problem now. For some odd reason, rune lich Harkas is standing there perfectly nonchalantly next to that queen or something.

 "Have you been enjoying our hospitality so far?" she asks.
 "Not really, no." you indifferently respond, turning to the doctor. He appears to be deep in thought, staring at the ground ahead of him. You turn back to the woman whose figure is now more defined. She appears to be a.. medusa woman? You just now notice several snakes protruding from her head, hissing and snapping at the air.
 
 "Who are you?" you curtly ask.
 
"I am Minerva, shadowmancer master."

"Her name is Minerva, a wretched witch who despises the holiday season greatly... She lives in the Land of Fairies, next to your school, in the tallest mountain there." Saint Nick explains as he paces around the screen behind his desk.

Hmm... Doesn't ring a bell. Oh wait, that's the witch who Santa wants you to kill. Doesn't really seem to live in the Land of Fairies, though.

"Oh, perhaps you noticed your old friend?" she says, motioning to Harkas at her side. Harkas nods and steps up on a stone pedestal protruding from the ground beside the throne.

 "Ya' done goofed'." he says nonchalantly, flicking his finger at you whilst incanting the words of the cruciatus curse.

  "Perpetua dolor!" he states, making you wonder why the curse has two deviations. What you should really be concerned with right is dodging it, though.
