╞══════════════════════════════BIZARRE SLIME══════════════════════════════╡
Something about Tia is too fishy. You should probably trap her in a jar if you had one, but you don't and you also do not have any runes that does so. You continue to stare down at the tiny Tia, whose pale blue eyes are fixated on you without blinking. You catch glimpse of Mr. Stark entering the hallway, his head bandage trailing behind him and his yellow eyes passively glowing. He moves over to the staff restroom and grasps the door handle before shifting a glance over to you and Tia.
"Answer the question." Tia questions as a grimace stains her face. Something is definitely wrong. You notice Mr. Stark look around, before he lets out three loud coughs, with the first one being higher in pitch. Tia stares up at you with questioning eyes, and before you know it, a sudden blast of sand jets by you and directly into Tia. The sand forces her against the stone hallway wall, and then ceases.
"NOW, PAMELA!" Mr. Stark bellows, his normal yellow eyes shifting to a red color. Ms. Ibarzaki your harpy teacher flies through the hallway and swipes her wing towards Tia, a rune drawn onto her wing glowing white. Tia is forced to the ground by a heavy gust of wind, before Mr. Stark swipes at her from a distance, causing bandages to fly out his palm and wrap Tia all over her body save for her face.
"I'll start the alert!" Ms. Ibarzaki barks before she makes a strange motion with both her arms, moving around whilst spinning. A red light shoots from her arms and into the ceiling, where it scatters through the ceiling. Moments later, the school's alarm blares out across campus. Mr. Stark quickly rushes towards you, looking around vigilantly.
 "W-wha-" you stammer, before Mr. Stark interjects as his eyes shift yellow again;
"Your fairy friend was under the Imperius curse -- knew it the moment she spoke." he explains as crowds of students begin to rush outside.
"B- But how did you know..?" you quickly ask.
"Whoever placed that curse was clearly a noob." he then says. Now that you think about it, she did show all the signs of the curse -- pale blue eyes, monotone voice, lack of emotion...

"Violet Rondo, please report to the headmaster's office." a feminine voice calls out over the PA system.

"Tell me, Violet... What's your mother's name..? Saria Rondo..?" He smugly states before he lets out a chuckle. How did he know who your mother was. Anger builds up inside of you, the very thought of this lich hurting your mother sends you over the[/color]

You know the patronus won't work because it only combats against dark specters such as dementors.

*Lord Harkas'
I thought Lord Harkas would have sent a dark spectre to possess our little friend, rather than some other method.

Trap our little friend in a jar or something(like our unused potion)
Failing the availability of a jar a temporary crystal imprisonment would well

To the office!
Yep. But make sure we have our runes available if they are trying to expel us for mass mercury poisoning.

I think he would be more concerned about the Shadowmancers, our immense spell casting power, and our ability to cast Patronus.(or the Necromancery book)

(I made the insertion point gif myself :3)
╞══════════════════════════════BIZARRE SLIME══════════════════════════════╡

You begin to run over to the headmaster's office, twisting and turning corners and avoiding crowds of running monster girls. Why was Tia put under the Imperius curse? Who would've put it on her? What did they want with you, could they be the shadowmancers? All these questions sweep through your mind with ease. You turn a corner and catch site of the long, stone hall that leads to his office. You slow down your sprint and begin to lightly tread -- security in this hall is high. You reach the end of the long hall, where a large wooden door stands bordered by metal. Next to it is an old-styled security terminal with green text. You move your head down to it and gaze at it's screen.

PLEASE INPUT NAME

You place your hands upon the old terminal's keyboard and input your name. These type of terminals must be rare -- they're just so old. You'd expect the headmaster of Promas to use fancy holograms or even some kind of magic entry system, but maybe this fits his personal style. After all, he is pretty mysterious. The doors in front of you suddenly swing open, causing you to quickly jump back to avoid it's swiftness.

"Come inside." his familiar old voice calls out. You gradually stride inside the office. The office has an overall 'old' feeling to it -- many magic artifacts are mounted up onto the wall and tables laid across the corners, the floor has a dark and light pattern with the reflection of a bright yellow light, which is a large crystal chandelier hanging onto the ceiling. Then you slowly approach his desk, a well-carved and glossed desk with sheets of parchment and pens scattered across it, as well as an old computer and an orange table lamp which shines brightly down on the parchment. You shift your eyes off the desk and up to his face, at his steel blue eyes and an almost emotionless expression. A smile finds his way onto his face as he moves his fingers up and through his long, grey beard. He gives his clear half-moon glasses a slight nudge before he removes his hand and looks up to you in acknowledgment.

"You called for me, sir?" you state, gazing down into his steel blue eyes. The old man waves his hand and shakes his head in disapproval.
"Simply refer to me as 'professor'." he insists as he adjusts his spectacles.
"Yes, professor." you meekly say. He leans down below his desk and pulls out an oaken drawer, moving his hand into it and rummaging around for something. He then pulls out a grey armband with a sword icon stitched onto it, which piques your interest. The old man lays it down on the desktop and slides it over.
"Well, welcome to the PST." he affirms with a smile. You tilt your head in a perplexed manner.
 "The PST?" you question.
"The Promas Student Taskforce. I was hoping to recruit you after the Colors contest, but the need was great." he explains.
"Erm, why me, professor?" you ask.
"Several reasons. Mr. Knuckles has boasted to me about you being able to conjure a patronus at such a young age -- and not to mention that even I know that you are a formidable combatant," he says, motioning his hand in clarification as he does so.
"You're creative, pure of heart, easy to work with. Some of the other Colors may join as well, in fact, the contest may even need to be delayed because of the recent problems." he continues.

"Is there something that needs to be done -- against the shadowmancers?" you ask inquisitively.
"Yes, yes, quite so. In fact, I already have your first assignment ready. Would you be able to deploy in say -- tomorrow?" he asks.
"T- Tomorrow?" you stammer in surprise.
"I already have transportation arranged and everything. I assumed you won't mind, since you're such an excellent student -- top marks in class and everything," he says with a chuckle hidden beneath his breath.
"U-Uhm, what is my task..?" you ask with negative things crossing your mind. Crossing volcanoes in gusto to defeat evil magicians who seek to destroy the world, scrying the whole face of the Earth for a magical artifact -- escorting a VIP through deadly shadowmancer territory, fending against creatures of the highest might and ferocity-

 "Quite simple, and doubly impo
rtantly as well. I wish for you to go on a research mission -- go to Death City. Recent intelligence reports that they have knowledge of advanced defensive magic. As you know, it's currently impossible to conjure a passive shield bubble around the school, but Death City seems to exhibit some sort of shield around itself. You will speak to the city's leader,"
he stops as a dreadful and truthful look stains his face. ",death himself." he continues. The direct manifestation of death -- the leader of Death City? It doesn't surprise you, a knockover city like Deathville doesn't have a leader like that.
"Well, I trust that is all. And of course, you will be assigned a partner which should be coming here an- Ah, there he is!" Aberthorn says as he jerks his head over to the door behind you, which creaks open as a figure steps through. The brown-haired boy with brown eyes steps through in a nervous fashion, twiddling his thumbs like he's done something wrong.

"L- Look, I swear I didn- Violet?" Johan stammers before turning his head to you in utter perplexity. Professor Abethorn meagerly chuckles as he shakes his head.
"This young man will be your partner." he simply states, observing Johan's now-flabbergasted face.

-

Aberthorn finishes discussing the mission plan with Johan, who meekly nods in approval. Johan turns his head over to you, his guitar case strapped on his back now shining in the chandelier's yellow light. A smile cracks on his face as he gives a thumbs up and turns back to the headmaster.
"Your escort will arrive at 7:00 AM sharp tomorrow outside school gates. Your destination is Death City, located in what used to be Nevada, USA. Keep wary about using magic in the city, however -- it caused them quite a bit of grief decades ago." he says. He stands up from his chair, his headmaster robes shown. He motions over to the door in dismissal.
"You are dismissed. The situation with the Imperius curse has been dealt with, but the suspect has not been caught." he says as the two of you exit his office. Johan shifts a glance over to you as the two of you walk side-by-side through the stone hallway, the wood door slamming behind you.

"So, you accept the offer?" he asks with a smirk.
"I thought about it, and... Yeah." you respond. Johan simply nods.
"I'm sure they have good restaurants in Death City." he remarks as you and him move out the dark, stone-walled hallway and into the now calm school commons area.

One hour left until you should head to bed.
The time is 8:00 PM.

If needed, you could create a rune of imprisonment, but you believe that you won't be able to control any more runes after that unless you remove any you already have. Also, transfiguring a crystal prison may take too much energy. It may be a more viable option to instead transmute the prison, or find another method to binding an enemy.
