What magic would she even use? Probably plant magic, since she's an elf, but she's a bit different in skin color, so maybe something else.

You eventually find her in the dorm lobby, by herself, making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
 "Hey, Dereka." You say, walking towards her.
She gasps, immediately looking away. She places her hand onto her face, hiding something.

Hm. She obviously is quite closed towards you.
You pull out the charged Magatama and sense her Psyche-locks
Wait, this isn't Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.

"Alright. Is there anything you want to talk about?" You ask, looking at her.
 "Uh... U- Uhm..." She says, flustered.
 "W- What m- magic d- do you u-u-use....?" She asks, fiddling her hand around with the butter knife she used to make her sandwich.
Out of the corner of your eyes, you notice Aeko the Werewolf come in, sitting down on the couch in front of the holovision screen. She pokes her head back, looking at you and her.

 "Oh, I use runic magic. You?" You state, hoping Aeko doesn't screw shit up.
Dereka looks down, like she doesn't really want to talk about it.
 "S- Siphon..."

 "Ah, nice." You respond. Another elf girl comes down the stairs, looking towards Dereka. She has normal skin and white-blue eyes. She has neatly braided light teal which comes down to her shoulders. She has a cane, which is etched with spiral patterns. Her posture is lady-like and proper.
 "Hello, good to see you, Dereka." She says with a warm smile.
 "O- Oh, hi, Elwen..." Dereka says towards the new elf. Elwen must be her friend.
Elwen looks towards you.
 "Oh my, my apologies. I am Elwen." She says, smiling.
 "Hello, Violet Rondo." You introduce yourself.
 "Ah, a color contestant. I see you have acquainted yourself with Dereka?" She asks.
You nod in response.
 "Making new friends, Dereka?" She asks, facing towards Dereka.
Dereka nods slowly.

 "Would you like some tea, perhaps? Our dorm?" She asks, her warm smile still catching your eye.

"Yes. Thank you very much." You say, following her and Dereka to their dorm.
You enter their dorm, on the fourth floor. The room smells of freshness. Flowers other floral things furnish the room, which gives it an overall pleasant aura. Elwen and Dereka sit down next to a short table in the center of the room. There aren't any chairs, so you just sit down on a red pillow like they're doing.

 "I do hope you enjoy Earl Gray." She says, gently setting a small cup of tea on a mat on the table.
You sniff the aroma of the tea, and it seems to calm you down a bit.

 "So, Violet. What are your aspirations for this academic year..?" Elwen asks, taking a short sip of her tea. Dereka sits on the far side of the table, the tea cup up to her face, her other hand covering one side of her face.
